Every day choices matter...
Things can be both immensely difficult...
And also intensely beautiful all at the same time...
Each side asks to be acknowledged
We are not merely meant to just endure things
Existence through survival is key
Within us there is always many things going on
Big emotions and a multitude of reoccurring thoughts
Lingering memories make it difficult to cut the ties that may need to be cut
The trauma within or because of life can be immeasurable...
And resolving it or healing it can be the difference in choice we make
The mind is a universe of vast moments
Heaven and hell and the experiences that dwell in between
All with the ability of creating different scenarios, of imagining the unimaginable, or capable of creating great things
And yet, it is also can lead us into great darkness filled with nightmares of endless horrors that exist beyond our comprehension...
It is up to us to choose what we focus on and what we allow our minds to create...
We have the power to shape our own reality, for better or for worse...
Faith and fear have one
thing in common...
They both require us to believe in something we can't see...
It can take a long time to realize that not everything in life is meant to be a beautiful story
Not every person we feel something deep and moving with is meant to make a home within us
Sometimes, people come into our lives to teach us how to love, and sometimes, people come into our lives to teach us how not to love
How not to settle, how not to shrink ourselves down into a small box without definition
It is the lesson that remains with us...
How a single act of compassion can rewrite someone's entire day
That one small choice can act as a pebble thrown into still waters
It can generate a ripple effect that extends far beyond the initial interaction...
Because when you choose respect, it honours another's dignity
A light shone within the shadows...
The first step among the many ahead
And the restoration of humanity within.
