You're not supposed to be one perfect piece

Life is a mosaic of memories, mistakes and beautiful beginnings

We are shaped by the steps along the way

Fear not if not all match together or make sense

We are the masterpiece of art of becoming us

The lesson we are always meant to learn is that existence happens

No matter what comes along, or how bad it seems today, life does go on

Sometimes you are given a second chance...

And in other times, you are not...

A lot may get forgotten, but some things will always remain

The heart will always remember how it feels

You are in charge of your own happiness

You don't have to wait for other peoples permission

You are not an option or a last minute choice
You were never meant to teach someone to love you
You were meant to be loved...

You have dug yourself out of the darkness

And fought to be here...

Never return to what tried to bury you

You cannot heal a person who continues to use their pain as an excuse to harm you

Yes, have compassion for someone...

See their wounds and try to understand their trauma
But do not let your compassion erase your discernment

Compassion does not mean removing all accountability

You can care about someone and still hold them responsible for what they do

To choose what is allowed and what can be forgiven

By drawing that boundary line it makes your position clear

That it now forces them to face the consequences of trespassing beyond it.
