Some how still holding onto that spark of optimism
Even on those painfully dark days where healing from anything seems impossible
Some how you have embraced this sheer determination to create more
A better life than what yesterday has handed you
Belief in ones self in paramount
Even when no one else does...
Even with tears in your eyes...
You still face the world every day...
With a new hope given in refusal
That for far too long you have lived only for others
This day now begins you...
You heal by releasing, not suppressing
To now understand that the difference has to be the choice taken
Existence is all the moments of living
A shining light beaming...
Listen to the words of kindness spoken to yourself
Let them sink in...
Let them fade into you and believe them
They are never meant to just lay upon your skin with all the other words collected throughout the day
