Thoughts take over

The heaviness is never easy

Making the struggle within difficulty ever so real

Acknowledge the pain

We are only human...

Senses consume reality

Until decisions have to be made

We create the tomorrow we deserve

Today is a new page within the next chapter written

And no apology should ever have to be given for self-care

Especially when its something you wished to always write

Give the permission to make this a priority

That growth means choosing happiness over history, and never looking back

Because survival comes from the fire inside you

Burning brighter than the one trying to consume you

Just as the moon breaks through the darkness

So do you...

Until the night reveals a new dawn

Making our stronger tomorrow one filled with existence

We are a powerful tool of creation

To live with it, is to learn through it

Healing happens by feeling

Determine the worth

Is this the life you wish to live?

Is this the person you want to be?

Can you be stronger?

Kinder or more compassionate?

Breathe in...

And decide.

In the brightness of the sun...

Thoughts stir...

Thinking of you...

That simple smirk of knowing

Like a gentle whisper of a spring breeze

Memories of moments replay

And suddenly...

I hear your voice

In laughter...

So clear I can almost feel it

And then...

I can see you ever so clearly...

In and through the eyes of those you loved

Time has moved us forward

And some seconds cling together...

Through the months and seasons

The days have all been counted

While others seem too much or too heavy to hold onto

Because my embrace still holds onto you

A heartbeat within existence echoes

Through an absence that can never be replaced

Because the bond within connection remains

The darkness within tears needed to be shed

Allowing the change within our vision in knowledge

Its only within remembrance and honour we keep this light now lit

Carrying this life in every step

Because you contain the past...

And we bear and safe guard the future to come

Knowing that even though we cannot see you

You are here...

Loved...

Treasured...

Remembered...

Always and everyday.

"Reason and Purpose"

 

How quickly can we forget...

That the footsteps taken do lead us forward...

Even though the vision is not clear...

We venture out within the world surrounding us

Taking the chance with the seed of hope planted

So much living is done in the moment

That we may not even realize it until after the fact

Our past being is only a reflection of who we use to be

Strange is the feeling felt...

The person that we once were, may no longer align with the being we are now

Its because we have grown...

Evolving from what and who we use to be

Challenging the obstacles placed in our path

Daily, we become the lessons learned and understood

Time given is the gift we receive

Life is only this one

There is no, “Maybe next time...”

We are the meaning given

A light shinning bright, despite others casting shadows of darkness

Honour yourself...

Communicate...

Fix and repair...

Strength comes from choice and belief

Recover...

Forgive...

Maybe forget...

Heed the warning calling for your attention

Let the ghosts of the past be laid to rest

Keep a weather eye upon the horizon

Recognize the bad weather approaching

Let it come...

And then release the embrace as it tries to hold onto you

Because so many beings are destroyed by another

For reasons and purposes known or unknown

Making us understand the unfortunate fact...

That this is why storms are named after people.

"Only Human"

 

Life...

And all its moments...

Build our being daily...

Its been a long year, and we are not even half way through

Challenges come in numerous shapes and sizes

Sometimes forcing change upon us...

Bending and molding us into something new

Because life happens every single day

Making this a reminder that all we need is within our being

Existence on a vastly spreading time line

With a beginning...

A lot filled in the middle...

And no definite or determined end...

From day dreams made into reality

We are the effort put forth

To be knocked down...

Is learning the lesson of finding our feet again

Making it all so bittersweet...

There is always something to gain

And something to lose...

Sometimes its a single thought realized

That we are enough...

And we always have been

That we are our own lighthouse

A beacon shinning out from within the storm for us to follow

Sometimes all we have is the thought of, “yes I can...”

And we need to do our absolute best to make it brave

To become this courage found

Because right now there is inspiration to continue

To be more than what has come before all this

Right now there is peace embraced from confidence gained

Feel all the emotions...

And everything in between

Not all thoughts are positive...

But this does not make us a bad person

It makes us human.

"Move Forward"

 

Moments begin like they do everyday...

With the horizon breaking open...

The bright light becomes a beacon of sunshine calling...

And when every hour is spent, they come to an end...

We gather them all daily, so quickly, to store away for safe keeping

Only then do we reflect upon each of them before deleting

Some repeat, solidifying their meaning

And others over lap the past for the future to come

While emotions control the sate of mind

The will of hope is guided

We hold onto those things we cannot control so tightly

When we should attempt to release those things we can...

It becomes the question asked...

How do we miss something when it never shows up?

Life is here...

And existence is what is needed

We are the journey taken

Healing is the destination

And those you lose in the process...

Are not meant to be with you now...

Because what has come before this

Gives us the ability to find something new within us

Change starts with a promise made

And those who say words can't hurt...

Are the ones who usually are trying to use them with some sort of intent to harm

So this serves as a reminder...

That we should not have to dilute our being to be deemed worthy

By those claiming to be more pure or righteous than us...

Just because we are told that we must be the most important thing on earth to another...

Instead of being that to ourselves first

Making the vision ahead now clear

Allowing time to do what it does best

Move forward.

There comes a time...

When a fine line needs to be walked...

To the point where understanding meets reality...

The voice within has led the mind through

Searching and analyzing the questions given

We realize the answer found

By digging deep we hear the choice

Before the moment becomes bigger than us

As we understand the permission given to ourselves

Learning that its okay to want what we want

Regardless of the quick thought of bias pointed out by others

We challenge the change...

We have sat within this line of thinking for a long while

Circling the points made

Debating the right and wrong...

And the difficult and easy...

Because the love of caring can blind the vision

Butterflies can be confusion in disguise

The intent given is our responsibility held

Truth in reality is sometimes not so easily spoken

And is rarely taken for what it is...

On so many occasions a two way street is only seen in one direction

Creating the difference stated

Personal boundaries are not prosecution against another

Causing us to pause...

And remember...

How someone treats us is usually more of a reflection of them...

Than a mirrored image of us

Because behavior like that always speaks between the silence

More than actions ever can.

Eyes open wide...

Feet pointing forward...

This is the moment when the decision is made...

The tuning point from darkness to light

Tired are the days of losing

An endless looping road leading to no where

For far too long have the shadows clung onto the corners of the mind

And the confusion took control...

But today...

There is a peace found

Clarity has replaced confusion

And yesterday became just that...

Choice becomes change

Because words can always be used

Copied, pasted, and repeated...

So give it meaning...

Broken pieces can be mended

We are capable of this beautiful gift to ourselves

We are a living and breathing experience

Take notice of the pattern and break the circle

Claim the freedom achieved from within

Let this realization embrace the being

Because then we will come to know the ability of how to rescue ourselves

Its the lesson of learning the understanding

And with hope and love reaching

Embrace the helping hand offered and given

Deny pride the power to disconnect

Acknowledge the difference made

Miss the lost...

But hold it within the contentment of remembrance

A part of it will always be with you

We carry our history within our story being told

Every sentence leads us to the next chapter
