"Time for New"

 

Fact...

Nothing last forever...

And this is the best and worst thing we can ever know...

Because at the end of it all, we may not know it all...

But we come to learn some things for certain

Like when the flow of energy changes

When it shifts and becomes strange...

It's an over generalization, but there is truth contained within it

We all stare into the mirror from time to time

What has changed?

The image or what is reflected within the person doing the looking?

We all tend to see the features we all have and not realizing all that is contained within the being

It's your presence carried that matters...

All the battles fought and won...

Nothing of that is usually ever shown upon your skin

You are always more than just a reflection...

There is a wonderful complexity never usually seen

And a capability that only has limits in which we place upon ourselves

This is why what broke you, can never heal you...

Remember that...

You had a purpose before someone had an opinion about it

You are reason enough to thrive...

Never allow those who don't care for you to manipulate your heart, mind and feelings

Let no other being control how you think about yourself

Deny them the power...

Accept people as they are, and place them where they belong

Brave is the decision to move forward...

The best time for a new beginning is now

Take a breath, centering yourself here in this moment

Have the hope in courage to allow the change

Because the fears we do not face, become the limitations holding us back.

"Powerful Enough"

 

We are all based upon a true story...

So be selective with the characters and narrative told....

Learn who to “know” and who to say “no' to...

Is what you are holding onto worth all the space it's taking up?

Everything has a beginning and an end

And one day you have to draw the line under it all

Addition...

Subtraction...

Or division...

If words and actions never seem to add up, then the truth is not included within the equation

Remember always, the way you speak to yourself matters

Accept the true colours seen...

Refuse to romanticize the hurt...

Repeated mistakes are not accidents...

That behavior is chosen...

Amongst all the hardship it takes a strong being to rebound from the warfare of the mind

There must be allowance for learning...

Give yourself grace to make mistakes and live beyond those choices

Release the harsh and pointed inner voice

Be willing to grow...

Like the seasons we change...

Allow the hurt, it needs to be acknowledged and heard

Plant seeds of happiness where sadness once tried to live

Shine light in spite of darkness

Peace is worth the journey

You are powerful enough to heal...

Your scars can be someone else's sign of hope

You are brave enough to rebuild after breaking

You deserve to be the one who saves you...

Because you are always worth the effort.

"Right To Believe"

 

Despite it all...

You are still standing...

And that makes all the difference...

Hope always begins with nothing in the dark...

Until new growth blooms from a place that once bled...

Never be ashamed of the wars your being has fought to save itself

Silence the voices that are telling you that you are wrong

Truth is what you speak to yourself...

Because feelings matter no matter what

They are you...

It is what makes the depth of your compassion given

No one sees the world the way you do

This is your life in existence

Take care of you first...

Self-love means refusing to apologize for who you are

Embrace authenticity...

In the waves of change you can find direction

Release the unfair expectation placed heavily upon you without your knowledge or consent

Never play along with a narrative created for you

You are not limited to their narrow view of the world

The right of your being only belongs to you

You owe nothing to others...

End the loop of continuously beating yourself up over past mistakes

Live only now with the wisdom gained in the lesson learned

Give yourself permission to evolve beyond yesterday

Because so many in this world will tell you that you must strive for perfection first, before claiming your peace

Choose yourself this time and always...

You do not have to be whole to be worthy...

Healing and moving on beyond where you stand does not require wholeness

Worth is not a reward for having no wounds left...

You are still deserving, even with your broken, confusion, and work in-progress self

Worthiness is your right...

You were never meant to have to earn it...

You only need to believe it.

Perception and perspective...

Everything that you thought you couldn't handle...

You kept handling...

Simply because you are made of things that you never wanted to go through...

You are existence in all the moments

A series of transitions...

Dark to light...

From yesterday and into tomorrow...

Knowing better, to now constantly doing better, can be an entire journey on its own

You cannot use some else's map to find yourself

Those footsteps must be bravely taken by you

There comes so many realizations through understanding

Sometimes damaged things don't need to be fixed

They need to be accepted for what they have become...

Having to wonder where you stand with someone is unfortunately where you stand

Rarely do people change, they just continually show you who they truly are

Don't let them ruin your peace just because they cannot find theirs

And how do you even reach a person who fails to listen?

Or when they only see things through their emotionally blinded eyes and think with their anger?

When they do everything to dim your light, then ask why you are not shining...

This is why re-visiting the past is never a good thing for a reason

It may be familiar to you, but you already know the bitter ending...

It's the true test of limitations...

To be used and pushed to the point of breaking

Until the firm position is taken

You are enough...

You are never too much...

Because you were always enough...

You are worthy of more than what is being offered

Which now will help you release the hands that bruised you

Reminding you that you don't walk away from someone to teach them a lesson...

You do so, because you have finally learned yours.

"Change the View"

 

Everything always changes...

It's the reality and truth of existence..

Just like the seasons, we are part of this motion...

Seeds are planted, and choices lead with a new hope born

This is how we grow...

Light to dark and day into night...

This is the transition of life we experience

Cycles and balances made by us, or without us...

This is why we must anchor our feet here in today

Forward motion is best when chosen

The past was a place to learn from, not to remain and live within

Be who you are, not who you are told to be

Focus on improving yourself, not proving other's wrong

Understand that you cannot change the view of another

Their opinion is not the definition of our being...

The harsh part of reality bares truth always

The lack of trust within care is hurtful...

The lack of empathy without apology is unforgivable...

And the lack of respect that follows will only bring closure...

We are seen as the villain in their fairy tale told, even when no fault can be made

Blame is passed onto another, and no one has to be held accountable

Because we are often reshaped into whatever fits their narrative within their story line

Leading us to the thought that tomorrow always becomes the expectation of better...

But what if you released it all today?

Be human and remember compassion...

Do not be the reason someone stops believing in the beauty of life

Refuse to use someone's broken as a weapon...

Understand that our own painful journey doesn't mean we have the right to become the source of pain in another...

Realize that there is something remarkable about a soul that has learned to turn hurt into healing

Because when facing those who only wish to do you harm...

Their chance of intent fades greatly...

Especially when the intended victim chooses survival above all else.

"Distinction in View"

 

Maybe...

The dark days have made you strong...

Or maybe you were already strong, and these moments made you prove it...

It's amazing just how much personal growth we can go through in a seemingly small amount of time

Moments count into days...

Months fade to years passed by...

Change has taken a hold of who you use to be

You should never allow people you don't know, teach you to hate yourself...

And worse yet, to never form a final conclusion based upon pain...

If only we fought as hard to understand, as much as we do to disagree

Because sometimes, we are only ever collateral damage in someone else's war against themselves

“I'm sorry,” is not the same as, “I will change”

Get out of the habit of excusing all inflicted hurt by saying, “this is just who I am...”

Excuses only ever hide the truth...

Understand the power of words...

Your presence carries weight

Know your value...

Take responsibility for life

Work the problem by understanding the distinction in view

Toxic is toxic...

Never accommodate disrespect...

It is your right to choose your breaking point

You are allowed to walk away from that which constantly hurts you

Adjust your position with absence from the chaos, not your boundaries

This attitude taken is not selfish...

It is preservation of dignity...

By knowing the fact that you have now become harder to manipulate

Now, you will never confuse that difference again.

"You Exist"

 

You are not broken...

You are human...

And sometimes pain does become visible...

Because bruises and scars show the severity, depth and the after effects...

Sometimes all cleverly hidden deep within and concealed by a smile

But that does not mean that you are not still alive, existing behind the facade

You are never warned about the bad days ahead

Each one just seems to flow into another

Until, the world inside you stops...

While everything around you keeps surging forward

No one teaches you really what to do when there in an abundance of darkness...

When it leaves you shaking from being haunted by the ghosts of the past

The hurt within trauma forces you to close up your heart of feelings with armor

These are the things you learn, usually the hardest way possible...

By breathing through the wreckage...

Taking one moment and step at a time...

It teaches you where your boundary lines should be drawn

The priority of self-care will show you its importance

And when ignored, it will ultimately kick you with the consequences really hard

Like you are always told, the easy is never available without the hard

The seasons of life have a way of testing your limits of strength

It always leaves you balancing out all the moments in between

With you now understanding the lesson that these hard things build the foundation for better things to grow upon

Because like all things, days always seem to turn into months

Months blur together with years...

And you are left wondering where all the time went

Remind yourself that you did the best, and are doing the best, with what you have and are given

Don't let the wisdom of now condemn you over your past struggles

Forgive yourself...

By allowing your feet to move forward.
