No matter what...

We are these moments...

Because now is all we may ever have...

Today's thoughts and actions may become tomorrow's decisions or regrets

There is beauty on the other side of broken

Even now, when you feel the most lost

There is still something within you to be found

Our greatest adventure and investment is ourselves

Never lose sight of that...

Live it for you

And honour you...

Keep your feet in forward motion

It may not be pretty or graceful, but this can be your healing

You just have to keep going...

Kindly remind yourself that it's not judgment passed upon others

You can not make angry people kind...

Nor can you make deep rooted hatred bloom into love...

Allow yourself to find peace with the apology that is never coming

Because even if it came...

Honestly, it would never be enough...

Let your emotions feel

Let them be...

You are allowed...

Good people do get angry

If you hold a match to anything long enough, it will start to burn...

So, remind yourself that you are human

Turn hurt and pain to purpose

Don't lose yourself to what has already been lost

Release the heavy weight attempting to bury you

Believe in everything that is you...

Because even now you have changed from who you use to be yesterday

As you continue to remember this lesson...

That the end of one thing, can be the beginning of everything else.

There is always a reminder...

It calls your name...

Each and every day there is a whisper...

Whether it is good or bad

Or you wished for it or not...

Nothing is ever permanent in this life

Existence is change, beautiful and tragic all at once

Don't believe everything that you overthink

Never allow anyone to convince you of anything negative about yourself

Because you are the authority of the definition of your being

And no matter what, people will always have a lot to say about a life they have never lived

Refuse to defend your character against toxic people when they try to attack you

We are always the “bad one” in someone's story, regardless of truth

What other people don't understand is that there was a time of good with them

And that part of the story will never get mentioned when re-telling this tale of supposed evil

What they hate, is missing in them...

So stop stopping yourself...

Release the pain so you may outlive it

Only carry kindness within

Value what you have...

Your uniqueness will make you stronger

The dark parts within you will make you understand the light

A mind will always believe everything that you tell it

Feed it hope...

Love...

And peace...

Connect with your creativity

Set yourself free...

Embrace your worth...

Wrap your arms around your soul

And sit with everything that is you...

Because you are the only you that will ever be.

"Where Shadows End"

 

Breathe...

Allow the silence..

Understand the moments as they are needed...

Never let your wounds turn you into someone you are not

Try your best to not personalize or internalize other people's behavior

What they do and say in not a reflection of you

Their actions are entirely their own

And should not affect your growth...

Because at the end of it all, you will never be able to change their mind

You will never be able to make someone hear what they are unwilling to see

Making this the saddest part of all...

When they have been beside you all along, listening to everything that you have been through...

Then putting you through it all over again...

Which now gives you the permission to declutter your life

Remove what and who does not fit anymore

It's not out of malice or cruelty...

But becomes a necessity of survival

Return yourself to a semi-balanced life

Existence is not perfection...

One thing we cannot do is carry the entire weight of the world upon us

And still expect to keep up with the pace of everyday life

Try your best...

To hold on...

To let go...

To keep trying...

Sometimes it is the only promise to be given

Attempt to heal from those iron fists trying to squeeze out and extinguish your light

This is where the shadows cast upon you end

Give thanks to yourself for not giving up

Remember that emotions and touch have memory

Feed and nurture your soul

Your are beautiful...

You are enough...

And no one ever has the right to make you feel like you are not.

Sometimes...

It's not all about what has been said...

It can be the silence that remains and follows...

Words have so many meanings...

Loaded to the brim with intent, description, and weight..

There is either regret or opportunity

Neglect, regret, or hate...

So be careful the stories you tell others and yourself

Current circumstances is not a life sentence

It's a collection of moments that test you

And negative thoughts will always take up more space inside your head...

Leaving no room for the positive ones...

Life happens always

It takes getting through the tough times to understand our strengths

We would never ask for those trials and tribulations

Nor would we ever ask to live through them again

In their own odd way, they have helped us realize the powerof survival carried within us

Never apologize for choosing yourself

Life existence should never be the sacrifice given...

Boundaries are meant for you...

They are personal tolerances for human behavior toward you, and should be asserted when needed...

Remember that you are allowed to feel both terrified and brave in the midst of change

Because despite it all, you are still standing

And that makes all the difference...

The truth is, we all have sad parts of our story that never get spoken

But like so many things in life, it either can be a continued excuse or your motivation found

We cannot change the future by worrying about it

Speak life and live in these moments now...

Love yourself today a little more than yesterday

Celebrate yourself always

Be grateful...

Be proud...

You are allowed.

Life...

Choices in so many moments strung together...

We can choose to be happy, miserable, or sad...

Do you hold onto that which no longer serves you well?

Or do you release the heavy weight?

Do you forgive, or do you live within hate?

Our decisions are our own...

We tend to get ourselves all caught up within the big picture

And we begin to forget all the small little details that makes us who we are

Our story is all these seemingly insignificant things connecting us to the present

Yes, change is always...

But that does not mean that you have to rearrange your being...

And alter the good parts of yourself to soothe and satisfy the insecurities and discomforts of others

You have to be brave enough to choose you...

Even when others don't...

Never neglect or leave yourself behind

Sometimes the hardest person for you to care for is the one you see in the mirror

You have just gotten so use to giving to others, that you have forgotten to give a little back to you

Breathe deep...

Exhale strong and with resolve...

Refocus your attention...

Realize and understand that you are enough...

Remember your passion and worth...

All unkind words spoken by others only ever speak more about them than you

Recognize the wrongs of the past...

Help yourself evolve...

Heal your roots for stable growth

Lead your being to find its inner peace and happiness

It's a moment in understanding...

This realization is made clear

That we can be both the cage, as well as the key to release us...

We are built daily from our every triumph and even from every mistake we have made

We are the living proof...

Just like the sun rising up over the horizon everyday

These moments hold us...

Reminding us to be patient with ourselves

To hold our own...

There is always a new day to begin again

Kindness is not an act

It is a reflection of our inner self

And it takes a deep amount of courage to walk away from something that no longer serves you well

To allow that final release takes bravery...

Faith is having hope within courage

Change is existence...

We are the history written

And all that has yet to be

There is only so much one being can do

We can adapt and we can grow

The learning curve we travel can bend its limits

And we can break...

There will always be the extreme within balance

Joy and grief...

Love and hate...

We just have to remember that we are not the darkness cast upon us

Nor do we have to oblige it with the power that will forever remain ours

Our attention...

Because what is said, and not meant...

And what is meant, and not said...

Will always be the difference between what is kept and what is lost.

Breathe...

Don't ruin a good day, by thinking about a bad yesterday

Never allow yourself to be dragged back to a place where you had to pray yourself out of

As hard as it may be, loyalty can keep us in some situations where common sense should have gotten us out of

The sad part of reality is that there will always be deception and lies

And those deceitful words spoken may not be entirely meant to hide the truth

But to deceive you into making choices that won't serve their interests

Words spin sentences together forming a story

Turning you into the monster they wished to make you

All the while never mentioning the chapter in which they made you into this horrible beast

We are only human...

It can take us a long time to realize and understand...

That not everything in life is a beautiful story

Sometimes, somethings come into our lives to simply teach us a lesson, then leave...

It is the knowledge gained that will always remain

Even if it's the bitter hard truth

Because life is reflective...

The mirror of reality stares back at us

Filled to the brim with moments of existence within life

The years have added themselves together, forging our path forward

Heartaches, goals obtained, and dreams made...

Like everything in life we are more than what appears on the surface

Each step defines us along this journey

And sometimes, healing hurts more than the wound ever did

Because we now understand what it's like to live, after people have left...

We are the difference in the definition made

Regardless of any faults or blame...
