Sometimes, we do break...

Not because we aren't strong enough to carry the load...

But because we decided to pick up something that was too heavy for us to bear...

Never feel guilty when being selective with your energy

Self-love is very important...

If distancing yourself from chaos preserves your boundaries and mental health

Then do it...

Prioritize you...

Communicate to the best of your ability

Even when it's uncomfortable or not easy

Release the control of silence that embraces you

Because all words left unsaid, will remain inside of your mind screaming

Allow yourself to see clearly

Sometimes we must be brave

Taking a step forward without knowing the path ahead

Calculate the difference...

Understand the future costs caused by current decisions

If it's destroying you now...

Then it was not meant for you...

Please, release it...

Deny access to those who only bring darkness to you

Those who are attracted to your light, then try to dim it...

We are only human, doing the best we can

With what we have, when we have it...

Sadly, closure only comes when we allow it

It is never expected or predicted...

And may only happen on some random ordinary day when we have forgotten to give it attention

But when it does come to pass...

The change will be like a swift uplifting rush...

When you realize the sense of freedom breathed and exhaled after that moment understood

Today is existence beyond every yesterday

Be proud of the truth within your story

Because you are living change.

Maybe you are not lost...

Maybe you are just redirecting yourself in a way that you never thought of before...

We all have dark and light contained within us

What truly matters is what we choose to embrace and act upon

There is no real way to deal with everything that we lose

The most beautiful thing we can learn is how to let go

Of grudges...

The past...

And people...

Even though it takes a great measure of courage to do so

At the end of the list of pros and cons...

People usually show us exactly who they are the first time

And sadly, there are so many moments that we choose to ignore

Simply because we want them to be who we want them to be

Until there comes a time when you have attempted to forgive them so many times...

That caring and the sentiment of love is no longer enough to believe

Reality of truth now makes vision clear

Don't offer apologies to another if you can't change what you are sorry for

If it continues to destroy you to keep it...

Then maybe it was not meant for you...

Clarify the difference that has changed the way of feeling

Some emotions require definition

Especially if you are always a being that gives the most

Please, know your limit...

Because those who always take from others, never do

Exhale deeply...

There is a breath after holding it

Honour your being...

Never lose sight of that...

Stop the spinning circle...

Eyes forward...

Straight ahead is the destination sought

Take a moment...

Rest...

And breathe...

This is life in all its moments

There has been grief that has softened you

Heartache that has made you wiser

And a heavy weight that has strengthened you

So be proud of the growth achieved in spite it all

Validate yourself...

No one is a saint, especially when they speak of others supposed sins

Realize that hurt does not have to turn into hate

You can love them, but you can also release them...

If the burden of holding on becomes too much for your being to bear...

Forgive yourself...

Sadly, they were only ever treating you the way they felt about themselves

We see “what” and “if” as two completely different words

But put them side-by-side and they have the power to haunt our life

Never allow anyone to manipulate you for their own personal gain

Second chances are only meant for correcting mistakes

Not to continue without change, embracing faults

Your worth is only ever determined by you

Cry...

Save yourself from drowning...

Allow the disconnect...

Never be ashamed of the wars your soul has fought to save you

There is a certain kind of light that only ever comes from being through a certain kind of darkness

And chasing after life, will never make it come to you

It has to come from within you...

Continue to honour the being inside...

By remembering exactly who you are

Because at the end of it all, you are still you.

Mindset is everything...

Understand the difference in perspective...

You don't always need a concrete plan

It's the action forward put into motion that matters

Breathe...

Have trust in yourself...

Sometimes it's the smallest action that has the biggest effect

Accept accountability and responsibility for your life

You control the direction taken...

No one can force you along a path that was never created for you...

Respect yourself enough to walk away from everything that violates your values

You can never erase what has happened to you...

It's the experience of learning within humanity that has shaped you

Inside all of that change, there is a choice...

To choose to put it behind you...

Directly underneath your feet

And rise above...

Letting go does not mean that you do not care

It just means that you have the control to release yourself from the heavy weight

Seek the answer...

Ask why a being is trying to hurt you...

But more importantly, ask why you are letting them hurt you...

It makes us understand reality...

That the hardest battles are the ones we fight within ourselves with ourselves

Sometimes the scars on the inside take a little longer to mend together than the ones on the outside

So we must remember this always...

Nothing takes more courage than putting yourself back together again

No person in this world is worth jeopardizing your mental health...

And never apologize for how you have or are healing from damage that another has caused

Happiness is a choice, not a result...

It must be embraced with arms wide open...

It is something that can't come to you, only from you...

Making it something you can to for yourself today...

So you may get closer to where you want to be tomorrow.

Yes, you can...

A sentence to believe...

One that should be repeated as many times as needed...

It is the most difficult battle we will ever fight

Between what we feel, and what we know...

We cannot run from ourselves

We can only attempt to do our best

Protecting what we have...

By never becoming like those who have hurt us

Why is it that those who have never lived our lives have so much to say about it?

Yet we let them tie our laces, forcing us to walk within shoes we never wanted to wear...

Just because they have allowed themselves to become cruel, does not mean we have to follow

Loyalty...

Respect...

Or even kindness does not mean you have to receive unlimited pain from broken people

Because criticism from those who have only traumatized us, is manipulation...

And unconditional love, does not mean unconditional tolerance...

The ownership of our being is our right to own

We are more a like, than all created differences

Our pain is not exclusive...

Just like our individual beauty is not ordinary

There is a thread linking it all...

The unknown gives us a chance to learn

Don't let history dictate destiny

We are who are supposed to be

We are not perfection...

We are human beings living within humanity

Mind it with care...

Be clear upon your presence...

Know the weight carried...

And live your life on purpose.

We are the first break of light...

That soft whisper of another beginning...

When darkness fades into bright...

As this gentle reminder speaks to you

Keep your focus ahead of your feet aiming forward

You are not lost...

You are just in that uncomfortable stage in life where you are transitioning

The old you is now gone...

And your new self is not fully born yet

Because some moments do try to destroy us

It is the gift within hardship now understood

Life is constant learning...

There will be significant times of struggle

Periods of calm...

And then unbearable pain...

It's not all bad, and it's not all good...

That is why some refer to it as the ride of life

It's the up and down, the unfair and real, and the mixture of it all with us embraced in between

Our journey will always continue in one form or another

And this is where we get to choose

If you are actively digging through the pieces...

That is a conscious decision...

If you are going to unearth it, you might as well unbox it, and sort through it

Make the attempt in healing

Allow it to hurt a little less

The sins of another do not define us

Those who only ever violate our boundaries

Are thieves, stealing everything that does not belong to them

Turn wounds into wisdom gained

Accept full responsibility for your life by making your decision known

Mistakes do not define everything that we are

Growth comes from all experience

It gives us the determination to succeed

Our past should stay where it is and be left laid to rest

Making our new beginning better than any setback ever was.

Forgiving yourself has nothing to do with absolving those who have trespassed against you
