Moments are here and now...

Waiting and passing by...

When understanding is realized...

Confidence begins to grow

Everything is within your power

And that strength is contained within you

Release the heaviness...

It only carries emptiness and chaos

Do not hold onto those beings so tightly who always give you less

When you only continue to give more...

Allow your vision to be clear...

Sometimes people will act like you're difficult and hard to deal with

When in truth, you are just hard to fool...

The dark negative convinces us a grudge should be held

Because the belief is made that there is still something owing to us

When the true reality is forgiveness to ourselves...

Acknowledge the hurt and the bitter lesson learned

Step away from those who have trespassed against you

Especially when they play the victim to the crimes they have committed

Confront the darkness...

Stop it in its tracks...

Deny it access...

Banish it with the truth of illumination...

Do not wait for all of life's variables to be perfectly in place

Use whatever tools you may have at your disposal

To heal you have to hurt...

And a heart that has been broken, has had the ability to love

Begin now...

Ignore perfection...

Reality cannot fit within that definition

Because existence is experiences in constant motion.

Days and months add together...

A year in life brings so much change...

Yesterday is on the road behind you...

Today is the steps leading you to so many moments of existence...

Through understanding the upper hand is gained

And the difference comes to be known...

No one can trash your name quicker than someone who is worried about you telling the truth

You cannot fix someones misunderstanding of you

Especially when your intentions have always been clear

This makes us nothing more and nothing less than who we are

But even in brief times of doubt...

Remind yourselves of the beauty that you are

See the magnitude of the human being within

We all have scares that carry whispers of the dark

But the best part is...

We are all continued works in progress

Pain heals when you start learning from it

The power of control is within your hands

So when that feeling comes to be, that you don't want this for yourself anymore...

It becomes a valid reason to stop...

Reevaluate everything as much as it needs to be...

The right of this choice is yours to own

Set your intention and let it be known

That repeating a mistake is a choice...

And that sometimes we need to take a deep breath

Hold ourselves in the direction we wish to be

And step passed that which tried to bury us or hold us to the past

Be brave and bold...

Acknowledge the reflection of the mirror

The differences seen are what makes us who we are

And when the attempt is made to try to set you back

Choosing your well being in happiness takes precedence above that...

Making it your biggest reply and comeback.

"What We Do"

 

Moments hold you...

Senses perk to awareness...

As you acknowledge the unpopular fact...

That there is still grief in letting go of those things that no longer serve you well...

Because there is never a “right” time

There is just time and what we do with it

Identifying the pattern becomes awareness

Choosing not to repeat that cycle is growth achieved

Criticism given usually only comes from those who do not know the price you have paid

Each step has been a battle...

Small or great...

Fought and won...

Or lost and managed to endure...

So when judgment is so harshly passed

Deny the act of shame given...

Because it only cultivates internalized abandonment, until it shades your daily existence...

Refuse to apologize for your survival and fortitude

Submission is only ever servitude...

And silence becomes confirmation complete

No one gets to control your volume of passion

Do not be an echo of the past

You are not where you came from

Learn to trust that there is a tomorrow waiting beyond what you can see today

Letting go while holding on is the wisdom learned and the strength earned

Don't give up on the person you are becoming

The power is held within your hands

Be a better you, for you...

Because we cannot force ourselves into change...

We can only love ourselves into personal evolution.

"Into the Light"

 

Allow the moments to settle...

Sort through the valuable and release all that is less desired...

Your gut instinct is not a liar, it's caution raised for a reason...

Process through the feelings and emotions

Stop romanticizing the pain...

This is not the only thing you deserve

Validate the real...

Never dismiss your intuition

If its out of your hands, then it should be released from your mind as well

There is no golden rule of absolute...

That you must take your past pain and make it into something beautiful

You are no lesser of a person if you can't...

Sometimes awful things happen and there is no desirable appeal within the debris

And you have no responsibility to carry that weight of rubble with you

You cannot hate yourself into a version of yourself that you can love...

Nothing occurs within us automatically

A decision has to be made to give it the permission to happen

One page within our story does not define the entire chapter

There is so much more to the story rather than the paragraph that you are currently stuck upon

Action is the root of growth when change comes to be

Perspective can and will be altered

The line of sight becomes bigger...

The mind steps back, looking at the entire picture ahead

Acknowledge the power and the gravity of choice

There is no denying the hardship faced and the difficulty of it all

Compassion dreads the execution of it all...

Because its the final choice of change

There is no returning to yesterday...

And today cannot be lived in experience by avoiding it

We are all merely moments of existence

Living within the day given...

Like the sun, we are a ray of light breaking out from the darkness at dawn

To embrace the strength we need to honour ourselves...

By granting the allowance to begin again.

Life creates character...

It builds it...

Tests it...

Breaks it...

And reveals it...

Because there comes a time in life when we reach a crossroads

When we are about to give up upon everything...

When the battle drains our strength

And we begin to crumble under the pressure of it all

It becomes so easy to forget so many things when we struggle

Self-care...

Self-worth...

And self-love...

Whether we are ready or not

We are reminded everyday that life moves on

Regardless if we choose to take a chance

Or remain buried within the past...

But what we truly fail to realize is this one thing

That who we were, who we are, and who we have yet to become...

Are three different people

Similarities will carry through, but we are change always

We are life in constant motion

Its evolution of emotion

Learning, loving, and creating...

The end of everything can be the beginning of something

Remember the simple things that keep your being held within your heart of your soul

Where the base, the root, and the core of you comes to be

Believe in the existence of life beyond yesterday

Alter the perspective in view

Because if we spend all of our time thinking about the before and after...

We will miss out on the here and now right in front of us.

"Refuse Yesterday"

 

A corner turned...

Eyes forward...

Direction in never backwards...

The view becomes different when you allow yourself to choose

There is always another beginning after an end

Following the natural order of existence, life is given from the old

To see light, we must come from darkness

Power is achieved from knowledge

Refuse to let history dictate destiny

Our ability to learn from our experiences is the difference

It allows the course of change to take effect

And before the truth sets you free...

You must understand and realize which lie is holding you back as a hostage...

We abandon ourselves every time we say “yes” when we wished to say “no”

We always wait too long to make the choice, and it ends up choosing for us...

It's always the wonder that is questioned

How honesty can bring out the worst in others

Authenticity seems to provoke anger within closed minds

Because when there is proof of more, there are those who have to deem it less

All because their mind is stuck within a mental prison of fear

This is why they refuse to grow beyond yesterday

They cannot hear a difference without being offended

But different does not mean bad...

It just means not the same as another, and that is okay...

Normalize being original and true

We are everything and more than what is seen by another...

Surrender the heavy weight of those things not worthy of your strength

Have a new hope born...

Forgive yourself for things you did when you did not know better and when you were trying to survive

Realize how bravery can be masked as fear

Because destruction always seems to come with so much noise

While a seed will sprout and begin creation in silence

So maybe this is how we will heal from what quietly broke us.

"Change the Narrative"

 

There is meaning behind everything...

Interpretation is key...

A choice in perspective...

Reality always bares truth...

The reason why some facts don't change a persons mind

Is because most people don't use facts to form their opinions

They use their opinions to form their version of “facts...”

But there is no hard rule stating that good moments can't happen on bad days

It's what you choose to see

The lessons learned come from daily living

And it is not about the mistakes we make

We all make them...

The difference comes after

How we change the narrative

And grow beyond that version of ourselves who misunderstood what we were faced

Recovering our footing from when we stumbled

We now stand at the ready

Strength in hand...

It's a difficult truth to face

It becomes the hard action taken

Followed by a hard breath swallowed in acknowledgment

That we to must own the role we once played

To stop pouring our depth into those who are shallow

So we stop becoming the puddle of tears upon the floor

Because how many scars do we end up justifying?

When the deepest cuts were caused by a being we embraced while they held onto the knife...

Regret is an unfortunate time machine that returns us to the past

When every ounce of us should be present

Today is forward motion from every yesterday

Never assume that loud is strong, or quiet is weak...

Because that is the irony...

The broken parts of people, were not caused by being fragile...
