"Life in Motion"

 

Its the odd thought that is real...

Are you what you believe?

Because we have the capability to learn a lot...

And with it comes the hard understanding that not everything can or will go to plan

Sometimes some things remain broken, its reality at its most raw...

You become the pieces that remain while one thing continues to echo through it all

You are doing nothing wrong by asking to be treated right

Sadly, we are the villain in someones story without it actually being true

How someone perceives you can also be a reflection of how they feel within

Making us become a mirror of what what they are hiding from...

And we cannot control their behavior

Nor should we have to carry such a burden

You should not have to apologize for refusing to be disrespected...

To be lied to or mistreated...

Dignity within humanity comes with standards

So step up or step out...

The heart is always the last thing to leave the fight

But when you choose peace over chaos, it does comes with some goodbyes...

The heaviest weight to be picked up is ourselves after abandonment

You truly never know just how strong you can be

Not until you forgive yourself when there has been no, “I'm Sorry” given

And accept that the only act is to move on when an apology is never received

You are forced to deal with it, or make space for it inside you

To carry it always and live with it...

Or do you dig deep within strength and thrive in spite of it?

Because existence is one big wave in motion

All you can do is flow, adapt, and transform

Healing means releasing yourself from the version you created to survive

The length of this life is never known

The only thing you can add to it is the width and depth of all that is yet to be

Tomorrow is not your past

This is your choice to be taken

There is no explanation needed

Because time is not refundable...

You have to use it with intention.

We are here...

Held within our own embrace...

Taking another step forward...

Even though we may be products of our past, we don't have to be a prisoner to it

We cannot control the variables that shift our seasons

Our power lies within the strength taken in our reaction

Destiny determines who enters our life

Our choice from an informed decision made is those who get to stay

Negativity casts darkness, becoming the beast within the shadows fed

Truth only hurts once...

A lie hurts every time we are reminded of it...

Embrace this moment in all its chaos

Put a definition to the confusion

Listen to the voice within

Breathe in deep and fight for life...

Extend the same kindness and grace to yourself that you do to others

Remember that we are still learning

Mistakes do not cause the end of our value, nor does it define our future

Change is this step forward taken now

Let go of all the self-judgment

Release the old learned ways of beating yourself up for every imagined inadequacy

Allow the dialog inside the mind to shift

Remind yourself that you are not the broken

Quiet the other voices scolding your own

Let pass what has been and enjoy the freedom of letting go

Because there are three things in life that leave us and never return

Time, words, and opportunities...

Choose compassion to yourself, because it is the best love given

It's universal in its energy...

To be grateful, hopeful, brave, forgiving, and proud

Is the betterment for our every tomorrow

Love thy self the best way you know how

Reach out with the positivity of caring

Touch has memory...

Remember yourself again

Because like flowers to the sun

We grow towards the light.

Thoughts gather...

And so many moments collide together...

While the reasons as to why becomes the numerous questions asked...

Doubt has a way of sneaking in through the things unanswered

Even when the image is pretty and bright

Life is all about colours and shades

And black usually represents darkness...

Denial of this will not separate the cause and effect of our daily living

We give it the power

The representation

And the distinction...

Once something is seen, it is never forgotten

Causing us to pause...

We take notice

A marker in time is made

That our gut instinct is speaking to us, and it usually never tells lies

Those initial emotions exist for a reason

These feelings are valid

Do not dismiss your intuition...

Because asking for a sign, is one already given...

Do you realize the intention?

This voice is asking for your response

Understand the realization

That when things fail to align...

There tends to be one or many reasons...

Covering up the difference does not change the truth

We know the action forward

We just struggle deeply with the decision about to be taken

Because it has all been made clear...

That when you are only ever treated as an option...

You must leave the abandonment by choice.

Exhale deeply...

Realize the moment...

Today is that day...

When you have reached that point where you just have to let go

In most cases, this is the only way to grow into your healing

Everyone has something to teach us...

We just have to be humble enough to learn from it...

And remember that just because someone gave you something, does not mean you have to keep it

Release this heavy weight

Stop the drowning...

Deny entrance to the darkness repeatedly cast against you

Remind yourself of the bitter truth within reality...

That feelings never end easily

Especially when you continue to feed them with tainted memories

This day is not yesterday...

And tomorrow is not your entire future

It is merely one day within the existence of living

Don't let the unhappiness given make you settle for second best

Because pointed fingers in blame, tend to come from unclean hands...

Failure is not falling down...

It's not attempting to rise back up afterwards...

Inner peace begins when you stop allowing another to control your emotions

End the circle of spinning confusion

There is better after this...

Navigate the road ahead...

Read the compass pointing to change

Because another day comes regardless...

Scars are only the marker of when and where you were stronger than what tried to hurt you

Understand your position that is allowed to be taken

With your best foot forward, rise from the attempt in destruction

Embrace the power felt within the right of liberation

And breathe in the light.

Life is choice...

Its everyday...

All the moments added together...

Divided and subtracted

Then multiplied together...

Change cannot be filled with excuses

Motivation cannot be manipulated

Your inner voice should not be one of silence

Just because you don't react, does not mean you haven't noticed

Unfortunately wars will be waged against you...

Reminding us that pain is meant for a reason

That battles bravely fought and won are steps taken towards victory...

The lesson within darkness is to remind us of the light

There is no self-development without self-awareness

You are the power within your action given

You are allowed your feelings and emotions

Speak to that which hurt you...

Note the damage done...

Hold accountability when and where it is needed

Define the correction asking to be made

If not, this will set the continued standard of disrespect taken...

Give time to understanding before moving forward

This is change by growth from the past of what use-to-be

Because what is said, and what is left unsaid is the difference

So be aware of the power and weight of words

Know your value in presence...

Who you are is not just what you inherit upon the path of life

It is what you choose to do with it...

And just maybe... its not the destination achieved...

It's happiness with peace embraced as you travel through existence.

Life is not a prewritten destination so easily achieved...

There are so many pages yet to be

Take a breath and realize...

The longest journey that may ever be taken, is from your mind to your heart

Leave the past behind...

Change is this motion forward now

Taking time with yourself does not mean you are lost

Different does not mean wrong

Question not your beauty within existence

Refuse the doubt asked...

Your worth is not anothers decision simply because they fail to see...

Its the distinction in perspective

Because how rapidly emotions and feelings grow

And how painfully slow they sometimes tend to chose to go...

We are only today...

A human being living within our best abilities taken

You can remember and you can choose to forget...

Allow the heavy release of weight with forgiveness

So you can embrace your recovery in healing

Especially when the balance of fairness is turned against us

When blind faith in believing has failed...

Offer yourself the apology for being wrong...

You are so much more than what hurt you

Pull away from that which holds you back in growth

Stand your ground...

Where you place your feet is sacred

A position within the power of reclamation

Even when shadows try to lurk

See the light carried inside you

And remember always...

That you are worthy.

Because there will come a time when you believe everything is finished

But reality always makes itself known...

We all have an archive of memories that we can no longer touch

Like a museum of history in humanity...

We realize that we cannot live a single day without having an impact on the world around us

Either we make the difference, become the difference, or decide to be the difference in change

Hear what it not said, and see the clarification in definition that may or may not follow

Most people want something from you...

The best people bring something out of you

While a select few only try to steal something from within...

You are not a reflection of those people who cannot see you

How you treat others is how they will respond or act...

You cannot expect peace while causing chaos and pain

Like the full moon shining, beauty can come from darkness...

Own who you are and what you wish for yourself

Never downplay the care that you have for your being

Your passion creates your perception

Anchor your feet upon this path before you

Because like a seed planted deep attempting its greatest expression

You must allow yourself to grow beyond what use to be

Blooming towards the light of hope given and taken

By speaking your truth you will come to know your worth in effort made

It will embrace you with the freedom found within
