Rise...

Open your eyes...

Breathe in...

Brave is the step taken forward

Out of darkness a golden light in human form

Yesterday was another closing door

Today is existence...

And tomorrow is what you are living for

Give the permission, allow your heart to beat again

Move beyond this temporary embrace

Release the heavy weight

You are not the emptiness that once called your name

Hold onto your spirit, never let it fade

Acknowledge the moment

Life is change...

And this is merely a drop in the ocean of living

Understand the realization of reality

To never sacrifice your peace for a being who only took pieces of you

Because that which we love so fiercely, has the most ability to destroy you

Time always reflects action...

Stop trying to make things right with those who fail to own their part in what went wrong

Learn that their poor behavior should not be laid upon you

To harm is a choice...

Recognize what belongs to you, and what does not...

Forgive yourself for the apology you were never given

Closure should never be tied to just one single word

Learn yourself through the willingness to let go

Be patient with yourself...

Because even in nature, some things take all year to grow and bloom

And when you begin to see the world a little more different, that is for the better

Kindness is your power

Use it...

Especially when it comes to yourself.

Stop...

Pause...

And listen...

We become the moments collected

Remember, as the list grows of the things we are

We are not those things that have trespassed against us

We are not the sum of the heaviness sitting inside our mind

Reality always makes vision clear...

You are only invisible to those who do not truly see you

Dividing our perspective...

We hold back our understanding

Avoiding all conflict to keep the peace

We unknowingly begin a war within ourselves...

But regardless of fear, this battle ground needs to be fought and won

Because we have come to know the sad fact that some monsters do hide behind human hearts

So please, realize the distinction given...

You are what happens after this

The surviving, the healing, and the rebuilding...

It's something we unfortunately have to learn amongst the hard experiences of life

That there is nothing enlightened about reducing ourselves to nothing

Making ourselves small to make another feel bigger does not serve our world well
⁣⁣You deserve to be here just as much as them

Like the sun never apologizing for shining

Never apologize for being a human being

We were born to manifest the uniqueness that is within us

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate...

The true fact is, we are powerful beyond measure

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us and others

To be raw is to be real...

In our weakest moments, we find our strength

Out of our most fragile state, the broken pieces tend to stitch themselves back together from the fibers of our existence

With resolve we forge ahead our beings evolution

When you embrace the vulnerable it makes you courageous and brave

Observe and acknowledge the growth

Liberate yourself from the fear

From the shadows of the day, emerge changed

We are this transformation...

We begin where it ends...

Another horizon breaking...

Dawn casting its light...

A silver beam of moonlight transitioning into golden sunlight

A new chapter begins...

Remember that you don't have to approach this beginning with an all new plot line

Honour the past moments...

You are allowed to work through this story one page at a time

Maybe not now...

But someday you will come to understand that not everything that you lost was meant for you

It only crossed your path to teach you how to fight for yourself

To help you understand the worth and weight of life

If we listen as much as we speak...

Then we can learn and begin to understand...

That it's okay to release those beings who could not care for us

Those who didn't know how to...

And those who failed repeatedly to even try...

Because your absence will not make up for them not appreciating your presence

Reality always speaks clear...

You cannot heal by pretending not to be hurt

Acknowledge the change within

When you have outgrown the place where you reside

Self-care becomes worth the effort embraced, especially after hard lessons learned

Own your truth, so you don't believe someone else's lies...

Realize that a big part of who you are, is who you are not

Commit to your peace...

Don't give up upon the person you are becoming

Even when the next step is filled with things that have never been

Remember that life always carries the stories of the journey of us within existence

And every storm does run out of rain...

But time does not run out of another tomorrow.

A year in review..

When reflection always seems to be looking back...

Almost everything can be understood...

But life must be lived in forward motion

This has been our journey so far...

Pages of stories lived, now are the months in chapters that echo behind us

We are the days written and collected...

Bound together by moments of existence

Our feet lead us to the destination we seek

From fumbles and falls...

And every twist or turn...

It's the path we are walking

Whether it's the road less traveled or never taken

Its creation of a being in the making

Everyday is the promise made...

To have the courage to dare to know and be more

That through self-care our betterment can be reached

Do not be convinced that your intuition is your insecurities

The good carried inside the being is stronger than fear

A scar should never be shameful...

It simply means that you were stronger than what tried to hurt you

To have the ability to speak the words, “I am not okay...”

Is a sign of bravery, not one of cowardice or weakness

Remember the difference...

You are the choice...

Because that which does not try to learn, fails at the attempt of knowing how...

Disallow the continued sacrifice of your kindness

Release the heaviness along with anything that angers your peace

Don't borrow from every tomorrow just to survive today...

Breathe within and through the permission in allowance given

By surrendering to what is known...

Acknowledge that you are a human being doing the best you can

And that you are not the definition of perfection...

Cast your light when shadows try to embrace you with darkness

Feel the heartbeat within, its a beacon calling out to the world

Upon the greatest discovery that is you.

More than ever, we count the moments...

So many pages added together with the emotions of life experiences...

Pages and chapters...

All telling the story of our journey...

There are times and places that still embrace pieces of our being

Lingering in the echoes of when life reminded us of just how precious it is

Our reflection is seen in the mirror of the past

We all have learned lessons...

And we all have lost...

While parts of us recall that invigorating feeling of winning a battle so bravely fought

The victories must be celebrated

It balances out the path of existence

Because sadly, the darkness is always there...

Attempting to steal our happiness...

But the courage always comes in the choice we choose

Own your light...

Let feet lead forward...

As we stand on the edge of this month ending

Just before we transition into the new year coming

Release the weight of twelve months gained

Breathe...

You are the author of the story written

Give yourself the permission to rise up and start anew

Embrace this gift in allowance

Because you are the creator of today's definition

And the hope for every coming tomorrow.

Release the anchor...

Break the circle...

End where ever the beginning starts...

Focus your eyes upon the first step

Realize that most battles are not worth the peace that they steal from you

Know that a being may never be the same after this moment of darkness is cast upon them

Have understanding and care with intention...

Words always speak...

But those who cannot communicate, tend to believe everything is an argument...

Patience will only continue to deplete when we are held within the creation of problems by another

And just because some beings find themselves perpetually lost

Does not mean we need to join them, setting ourselves adrift as well

Pain is not a badge of honour to be carried

It should not be used as chains, anchoring us to the place where we stand

Own the truth...

That self-care and preservation from another is not selfish...

And sadly, it may only ever come when you step away...

Diminishing the hold within power over you

Because their abandonment to compassion is their force to get you to comply...

Please remember, you are worthy...

Even when you are told you are not

It's not called “giving up” when you have tried your absolute best

Because not only was validation denied

So was the freedom from needing it...

Making the final assumption made clear

That loud is not strong, and quiet is not weak

Silence can be powerful...

Remain true to this knowledge of reality...

That you must actively disconnect from this embrace...

Because if you don't...

It will never let you go.

Realize to understand...

How are similarities are not our differences...

That each being shares a likeness with the next...

We all have secrets in hiding

And a pain that no one knows anything about

Yet we carry ourselves through

Because some people have come to know the lesson learned

To be self-taught in the art of compassion

Communication without comprehension is silence misunderstood

It truly is all about perspective

The good news is: everything is temporary...

The bad news is: everything is temporary...

But regardless of circumstance, always remember this one single truth

You are the reason for all purpose in life

Living it is the act of courage embraced

Time is this everyday

Somethings must end for better things to begin

The darkness of negativity will always be there

Gauge what is embraced

Soak in only what is real

Plant your feet firmly upon the ground

Breath...

And allow the exhale to be deep

Surrender to the release...

Own your light...

Find your peace within those things that will never come

Let it be enough...

The only being holding onto your healing is you

The end is where we start from...

With hands shaking, but reaching out

And a voice that is yours to own

Never stop starting again with what you have

What is known will help to set you free

Because it will always be much deeper than what you can see.
