Surrender to the moment...

Each step before this has led the body astray...

To a point where it has become bigger than what could be beard...

Pushing all limits beyond a reasonable understanding

Questions begin to call out...

Screaming for the attention that they deserve...

Where are the answers?

Change has revealed a new dawn

Another day within existence begins

So many words get caught upon the tongue

Thoughts wonder...

What point of emotion is this?

Is the only reason for this experience a lesson learned?

Because who needs this much confusion...

Passion to the point of blindness

Only causes neglect to the process of understanding

To be believed...

The source must be trustworthy

Release the shadows of the past

Tomorrow casts a light leading forward

Doubt has no place within hope

Underneath the vast space between what could have been and what should have been

The spark of creation resides...

Waiting for the senses to fan the flame

Because of yesterday...

A new purpose is found within

Break free from the care of being worthy enough

When another cannot even begin to see the value within

Change is the world in motion

Don't miss the things that are left behind you that haven't shown up

There are reasons for this...

Forgive or forget...

Either way, liberate the soul

Realize, remember and recover

Because you are needed here.

How much do we sacrifice?

Is it force?

Or by choice?

There is existence inside our blood

Each daily moment...

An experience gained within every footstep

Pushing our limits...

Pulling upon our heart filled with hopes and dreams

Reality reminds us that there is no promise

Except for motion and change

How do we choose to remember?

There is the lost and broken

The treasured and held close...

A combination of chaos and sunlight

Darkness seems to make its presence known on its own more times than enough

Release the thought that this to needs to be embraced

Confidence calls our name

Digging deep within...

Find the patience...

Motivation can spark from any point of revelation

The act is in the trying

And the decision to choose

Freedom is the peace found

By living with the grace of acceptance and allowance

The compass you seek beats within

Making these seconds in time our creation

Because tomorrow comes whether we like it or not

Yesterday is not a place best lived...

The past does not need us...

Especially when our future is calling out our name.

Thoughts examine the difference...

Time remembers...

But it also forgets...

Shading and rounding off the once sharp corners that use to dig into our skin

Old tears have dried, leaving their stains

New ones begin, washing clean what needs to be

There is this odd balance that remains unseen

A push and pull keeping us

What purpose does this contain?

Is the reason a lesson?

Or is it a pivoting point where we change?

Our direction of feet moving forward is the choice taken

Because there is only so much the human body can carry

The deep hurt left abandoned within will burn within our blood

Raging like a storm and consuming the point of view forward

Decisions tend to make us before we make them

So before the burden becomes too much

Work your way through the heaviness

Releasing that which no longer serves your soul well

How do you wish to live?

Recognize that this is existence

Honesty bears equality

Truth always seeks the light

Make amends with yourself by healing the scars of the past

Allowing forgiveness to be embraced

We are humanity defined...

It's what keeps us everyday

A hand held and another reaching out

Somewhere in time comes this moment of revelation

From a footstep chosen and an act taken

Within this reality we are given

Becomes our survival for every tomorrow.

May we finally stop seeing ourselves through eyes of those who have never seen us...

Understand the difference...

Keep pride from ego...

And anger from righteousness...

This is the line drawn

A boundary where no other shall trespass

Because change moves us always

Through the seasons with time and months counted

With the pouring rain tears fall

And its the calm after the storm that reminds us again

How the way this world holds us

Seconds count...

Silences speaks...

So break the sound...

Detach from the lonely battle

Wherever your feet may fall, carve out the path taken

This road is called survival

Today is not tomorrow...

You are your own

Freedom is the choice made

It's reality in truth living

And even when you think the fire is burning out

Trust the hope embraced

And sometimes we are the reason...

The uncertainty can work both ways

The unknown and the yet to be...

Because on one day like this...

Randomly, the power within is found

By choice, decision, force or last resort

We reclaim the ground where we stand

Realizing that compassion is a home that shelters the heart

Brave is the choice chosen

To stand proud and surrender nothing of yourself always

Flawed, beautiful and learning

There is strength in reaching out

Then why not change the action?

From the lesson comes the allowance in choice

A permission granted to breathe

Now places an anchor within, a pivoting point to move on from

With sight regained the view clears an embraced heart

The mind now understands that we are not just some broken thing
