Changed in a way

Each step taken is a moment in learning

We are able...

Time is with us

Embracing the senses

Choices made in the making

What do we carry with us?

Self-preservation is surviving

At what point do you turn away?

When the current path continues to lead you astray

Sharp curves and dead ends...

Heavy hands filled with burden

Make the soul weep...

It's okay to say that you are not okay...

How much does one sacrifice upon the alter of love?

When is enough become too much?

The hard part comes in the knowing

A truth staring you down

You cannot heal a person who keeps using their pain as an excuse...

To repeatedly hurt you...

They burn the bridge in connection

Then ask why your hand no longer reaches out

We have the right...

To forget those who have forgotten us...

It's the attempt to manage the give and take

Because when lies dance with temptation

We realize just how much the truth gets shaded by darkness

Stealing the light of defense

Against that which has become bigger than us

Moving us beyond all care in humanity...

We come to know this...

It's about who makes the effort to stay with us...

Not who simply promised.

Footsteps lead...

Each on a journey started...

There may be no direction

Except for the light ahead...

The hope of the day holds its place

The conviction is a welcomed sight

Not all roads are the straight and narrow

The next hill and bump always awaits

The flow of life carries us...

Memories through seasons are kept treasured

We climb the obstacle...

And fight the good fight

We praise those proud moments of success

And weep for those things lost...

Regrets are unresolved deep seeded emotions

We are not the sum of negative thoughts from others

Its the give and take...

Belief in the better

And the surrender...

To let go of that which is bigger than you

Be the strength in choice

And the realization made...

That some people and some things...

Can stay in your heart, just not in your life...

We are the motion forward

Conquer the past

The heart lives for existence

It's in the awakening of every day

Navigation is in the learning

Give yourself permission to thrive

Be that someone to stay

Protecting the being within...

You control you

Stay in the here and now

And breathe...

It calls to us...

To be present in every moment of our life

It's easy to forget...

That once the heart gets too heavy with pain

Tears become silent

The flood buries us within....

Even in darkness there is existence

The far reaching numb comes close

To that which is held most sacred

There are attempts to lie to ourselves

An easy cover up...

A repetition unfortunately repeated

Attention is not love given...

Blind attachment is not connection...

Bare minimum is not effort...

And one sided interpretation is not fact...

It's an act of war...

The story comes in the telling

Each day present

Not buried with the past

Reflections force us to look within

Layers and experiences build us

And those emotions embraced can strip us bare...

The very best only comes when we have seen the very worst

As we become the difference

Alert and focused at every turn

Even in mistakes and wounds

There is truth in love...

And honesty in weakness...

The savior comes from within

Its acceptance of ourselves

With these lessons learned

In the process of changing.

Through realization

We uncover the shadows

Allowing light in

Embracing the existence contained

The heart beat of life blooms

This is our anchor...

A safe harbor after the calm of a storm

Survival is worn like a badge of honour

New beginnings often start before we even realize

Trust in the truth...

Hope is found here...

Lead with conviction...

The guidance is at the tip of your feet

Motion forward leads the path

We must open our eyes to watch the sunrise

Freedom is in the proof of tomorrow

With remembrance we give thanks

From where we have been

To where we are now

Possibilities endless...

We are this movement...

Our very own light shinning bright.

Breathe...

Move....

All that has been lost...

Sometimes does not need to be found

Hold emotions proud

Feel the instinct

Allow the moments to fill up

Release the broken pieces...

Anger is too loud to always contain it

We are what we embrace

What is wrong...

Right...

Or easy...

It's a simple truth

We will never have this day again

From where you are...

To where you could be...

How much time will we let imprison us?

When darkness is only ever meant to shade the light

Our well being deserves the determination

Dare yourself to make the move

With peace of mind there is so much to gain

Because how much resistance can be denied?

These are the days we wish we could skip

But these are life lessons in learning...

Is there redemption in tomorrow?

Forgiveness is not unlimited...

Stop being a stranger to yourself

Here stands the choice...

Calling your name...

There is no need to hear excuses

When actions have already spoken the truth

We are here...

How quick do we seem to make choices

While others keep us chained

Bound to what was or what will never be...

The deepest hurt can come from those who lack the care

Or worry for our well being

A broken heart can change the best into something forbidden

The worst part of manipulation...

Is the blame received for your reaction after their disrespect

Words strike...

It's the taste of bitterness swallowed

The truth is never as painful as discovering a lie...

Making this a pivotal realization

Life is everything

All at once...

Built of so many moments

We are this existence

Every day...

There is no need for an apology given

Emotions are meant to be felt

It's another lesson learned

Its give and take, by holding on...

While letting some go...

Embrace those that matter

We are all strong enough to release this burden

Have the will...

And the growing conviction

There is strength to be found by being more than this

We deserve better than someone who gives up on us
