Not the whole story...

Dare to feel beyond this moment

Time is counted in so many different ways

Reflections and memories

Chances and dreams...

Dare to understand

To not only be in the feet of another

But within the confines of their mind

Learn forgiveness for yourself

Acknowledge that words hold meaning

Destruction...

And love...

Blurred lines can be an angry beast to wrestle and sort out

Dare to realize...

Would we ever know how to truly feel happiness?

If we never knew sadness...

Sometimes its not all merely about the mistake

It's how you make amends and apologize for it...

Accept the recognition...

The acceptance when someone or something is no longer good for you

And dare yourself to be more...

Move passed the shadows blocking your path

Because if you cannot trust them in the dark...

Then why would you follow and hold onto them in the light.

Darkness...

Silent moments fallen still...

Now past with the waking of another day

Motion forward life leads

Today...

An empty canvas given

A palette full of colours

Chosen and used

Moments with decisions made

It's the realization of happiness

The true value of emotion

Positive thought leads

To a mindset clear

We should only fight to be free

Not to enable a continued war

Peace needs to be remembered

That we are more than confined thoughts

As we speak louder than misunderstanding

Hope is found here...

Some are only ever unable to stay

And become to good at goodbye's...

But we are not their broken

For there is one heart inside of us all

With various different pieces that form it

Change is the light our feet leads us to

Because reflection works best when not using a broken mirror

We are each made with possibilities and purpose

It's the effort in the searching...

And embracing the find

To leave ourselves better now

Than the day before.

There is darkness...

In the tiny corners of the heart

Where the soft parts of the soul cannot see

Hidden behind the best intentions

Pictures of memories hold

A visual journey in progress

Into the lives of others we lead

Daily being transformed

Time doing what it always does best

Moving forward...

With or without us...

Why is the picture of perfection the goal?

That we sacrifice make-believe for possibilities true

Hope is not something that should be cautiously kept

It should spread like wild fire

Coloured in the most magnificent brightness

Bundled with wishes of betterment

That we are learned

Always...

We are walking and living proof

Of adaptation and change

Of breaking down barriers of the past

And not reminding others why they were built so high to begin with

There is a yearning...

A continuation...

Beyond this single moment and thought

Because actions can lead...

But words can touch where hands cannot reach...

Trying to understand what has been given

Holding onto that which has been taken

Because when the heart goes numb

It's the mind that goes astray

And the less the mind knows...

The more it has to fill in the blanks

Silence listens...

And speaks...

Or has much to teach...

Truth found is a cherished discovery

It's the true value of fact

That reason without faith...

Becomes conviction without belief.

No security in words embraced

Lies mixed with truth...

Emotion did not match meaning

Points in time are marked

Smiles turned dark...

A memory only lasts if we can bare to keep it

Lost to the realization...

That excuses do not lead you to redemption

Like all broken moments in life

We are here...

Ourselves left holding onto the pieces

The hole dug...

A ladder to climb free...

Your hands did not solely create this path

But, our feet are the ones that will lead us free

Throw away the idea that healing means forgetting...

Remembrance is the key to learning

Allow the intensity to fade

Remove the power over the mind

Diminishing the effects...

Because sometimes...

Heartbreak shakes you awake...

Helping you truly see the worth...

In more than what you maybe settling for

Because even though another being can love you desperately...

With their feelings and emotions...

They may still not know how to love you properly...

Conviction in belief

Hope for what is yet to come

Gratitude for where we have been

Life is existence

A call to be answered

Favourite sounds remember

Wishes and reasons

Keeps forever in a day
