Sometimes enough is enough...

Sometimes, enough is already too much

Its not about being right or wrong

Sometimes it comes down to strength of conviction

And the principle of it all

Making me ask you

If you have to ask the question, then you probably already know the answer?

I have tried, and I am trying

I will always try

That is the best that I can do

But when promises break...

Expressed wishes are broken

Taking action only seems like a call to arms...

And when all words fall short and fail

Lost boy...

Here you are again

Found lost within

The time has come for you to repeat yourself

A page in history is being relived

The pain...

The upset...

And the damage...

Another choice made upon a whim to throw yourself to the wind

Planting temporary roots wherever you land

A home...

Companionship...

A career in the world made

Lost boy...

Here you are again

With unsettled feelings

Turmoil growing

Eyes searching

Possible new destination found

Far away from where you once last embraced your salvation

The page now rips

Do you rewrite or erase?

Bringing back the hand of time to zero

Devastation is brought to those who share and believe in your life

A new world shortly lived is now deceased

Lost boy...

Here you are again

Saying goodbye to the life you just grew

With words failing

No description is really ever made

Making all actions seem sudden

Instantly breaking all terms agreed upon

Leaving abandonment and the deep seeded emotion that you don't care within your wake

The time to move on is pushing upon your being

You pick yourself up

Taking a single swift breath

Setting out upon another quest

An adventure never really found and a craving that is never satisfied

Lost boy...

What are you truly looking for?

Have you forgotten that you are the needle within the compass of your heart?

Has your sight failed or are your senses tainted?

Because the same life you just lived

Is now due to repeat itself all over again wherever your feet land.

"More Than This"

Cold in shadows

Some have forgotten how to fight in the light

How much of our lives are lived to late?

Because life should be lived by looking forward

Never back...

Think of your life as moments in time

Exist...

Because the worst kind of death is what dies inside of you

While we are still yet alive

Its better to make the change or choice

Rather than waiting for life to do it for you

But without action

The promise of, “it gets better”

Or “I'll make it all right” means nothing

When wrongs go on unchallenged

Conversations are forever left filling in the words of those absent

With remembrance

Keep in mind that comments and remarks take on many different shapes

Always be sure to check for pointed arrows

And that it to is an act that should be done in moderation

Choose compassion before judgment

Make the call...

Sometimes, in life, we have to be brave

To stand up for ourselves, and others

Because we are more than a victim.

These are the days that end

Like a whirlwind bound in action

They take the stage making their last scene

With a fountain of change running over the brim

Turn the page

Place an “x”

Marking the days complete

Soon the sand within the hour glass will run its course complete

Grain by grain

Moment by moment

A year in reflection

We celebrate

The highs and lows

Love, laughter, and friendship

Cheers to a year lived

In all the days of our lives.

Here we go again

Like the changing of the wind

We find ourselves here

Approaching the holiday season and the end of another year

With the twists and bends of the months behind us

We are left with the highs and lows of the moments in between

New friends made

And hold the candle burning bright for those we have lost along the way...

We stand here united

Celebrating as one

Like the falling snow embracing everything in white.

Hold tight to those you love

Taste the yummy treats

Watch the twinkling lights

Pull into you the warmth, happiness, and light

All blended together in the hopefulness this season brings

Spread good cheer to those far and near

Peace to you this twenty-fifth of December

Mixed with laughter and good times

Shared with family and friends
