"Let Reality Be"

 

Give yourself the permission...

You are allowed to say no...

Especially when you cannot afford anymore situations where life brings out the worst in you...

It is incredibly exhausting to the mind and body

And because we never want to seem weak...

Or show our struggling moments...

We attempt to cover it all up...

If there was ever to be one hope to be granted

It would be for the need of calmness and gentleness

To be given the benefit of the doubt

Because anything outside of that takes too much from the being

More than it is willing to give or has the capacity to contain

Making this next choice the hardest to swallow

Let reality be reality...

A series of natural and spontaneous changes

Because we are life...

We should be taken as we are

Or those who fault us, can watch us as we go

Feet do lead...

The direction just needs to be chosen

Learn to be okay with others not knowing your side of the story

You have nothing to prove to anyone

You belong to you...

Never hurt others to heal

Never hurt yourself to heal others

This is why so many believe a scar is ugly

But in true definition, it is an act of defiance

A scar never forms on the dying...

It means you are alive...

And that you have survived the odds.
