It's strange...

Just how easily some can judge...

Yet, find it so difficult to understand...

Because that would require them to give more compassion than hatred

And a willingness to believe in the positive more than the negative

Which now makes us realize that saying to be true when it is stated...

That people will always find a way of revealing who they truly are

And once seen, you must believe them...

No mask can be worn forever...

Time always decides who you meet upon your journey within life

Your heart decides who gets to stay

And their behaviour determines when they should be removed from it

To exhale what is no longer serving you well...

By breathing in truth...

Refuse to sacrifice your peace for those who only want a piece of you

Avoid the oncoming confusion...

Place those where they need to be appropriately placed

Sometimes its within your life, and sometimes its outside of it...

The pain can change and alter people in so many ways

Some become rude and hurtful...

While others simply become removed and silent

Your life does not work upon another beings terms

And just because you are struggling through it, does not mean you are failing

You are figuring it out...

Forgive yourself for giving them your best, when they only gave you their worst

The way they treat others says more about them, than your worth

Acknowledge the feeling of strange...

You are only human...

This comes down to self-preservation...

This awkward in-between phase of transition requires effort

To grow beyond what has once held you back and down

Makes this your pivotal moment

To accept the end of one thing...

In order to begin something new.
