"Last Tear Drop"

Lost in the the long shadows

Moments divide

Emotions pull relentlessly upon your thoughts

And feelings sweep through your body like wild fire

Confusion rains as you trace the twin trails of tears down your cheeks with your fingertips

The darkness leeches in...

But you some how remain strong enough to keep it at bay

Tired from the fight...

Beaten down till you are black, blue, numb, and raw

You still have a whisper left within your voice to say...

You will not submit

You are through with playing any sort of game in or around life

Especially when you are being forced to compete within the confines of some one else's rules

Sometimes you just have to simply close your eyes and trust in yourself

And leap

Brave enough to trust in your instincts you are being the true definition of blind faith

You are finding peace from broken pieces

Because a change has to be made

A shred of some unknown happiness prevails through

A gift from the future for the future

In the face of the impossible you are beating the odds

By becoming inspired, instead of defeated

The path is chosen by your hand and directly through the disaster, lies salvation

Not a second longer can you lie to those around you, or to the being inside you

This choice that you make will turn the next page of your life

By breathing through those frozen moments

Fighting against the odds

Take one more step forward and let the last tear drop fall

And I know you believe in you

Be all that you can be here and now

Because existence cannot be grasped, unless you actually live.
