Between those things we are told that we should regret

And the lessons learned that we cannot forget...

This is reality known

Experiences lead to growth

Balanced between the light and darkness

A choice is made

To turn the pain into power...

An allowance can be given without offering total submission...

Boundaries have nothing to do with cruelty

There is no judgment cast

And contain no punishment

This is for peace...

A teaching tool used

It's respect to yourself

Because the senses know...

Warnings and bad feelings are not just for others

We are included as well

When you start lying to yourself

The damage done does not out weigh the loss....

This becomes the moment

The one you must pay attention to

We find ourselves lost at the beginning of what is suppose to be the end...

Moved beyond that which use to hold you

Words of an apology come for a part of life already lived...

Beliefs are hurt, and strength gained is never seen

Because the view and decision of another places you there, instead of here...

Apologies are even given after tears...

Even though there is no growth without some rain

For every seed needs some water to thrive

Achieving inner peace is something that should not be excused

The claim for independence is not selfish

A voice found is allowed to start over

Speaking of the strength learned

Stop apologizing for apologizing...

These have no worth in time to be rescinded

This is not all that we are made of...

We are more than a burden to ourselves and others

We should not have to bear the heaviness that which no longer serves us well

Allowance has been given with experience

The knowledge is learned that today is not yesterday...

And yesterday does not belong in tomorrow

We are the breaking of dawn...

The bright light finding its way through the shadows

Because the thought of understanding is a realization now known...

That our body is meant for more than being a burial ground for pain.

This is not for cruelty, its self-preservation

Is consideration for living

The act of survival is a footstep taken beyond this

The soul of being will not surrender...

The light denies darkness the privilege to over come

As hands only continue to offer pain instead of effort

Now come to a dead end...

The path ahead divides...

Reality has reached passed the realm of understanding

The damage has been done...

So who has actually won?

Because in the end, all you did was lose me

And with all the things sacrificed...

An unhealed person can find offense in pretty much anything another being does

The difference is in the action

An understanding with the meaning

Each day you-and only you-get to decide

Sometimes does not need to be found

Hold emotions proud

Feel the instinct

Allow the moments to fill up

Anger is too loud to always contain it

We are what we embrace

What is wrong...

Right...

Or easy...

It's a simple truth

We will never have this day again

From where you are...

To where you could be...

How much time will we let imprison us?

When darkness is only ever meant to shade the light

Our well being deserves the determination

Dare yourself to make the move

With peace of mind there is so much to gain

Because how much resistance can be denied?

These are the days we wish we could skip

But these are life lessons in learning...

Is there redemption in tomorrow?

Forgiveness is not unlimited...

Or worry for our well being

The worst part of manipulation...

Is the blame received for your reaction after their disrespect

Words strike...

It's the taste of bitterness swallowed

The truth is never as painful as discovering a lie...

Making this a pivotal realization

Life is everything

All at once...

Built of so many moments

We are this existence

Every day...

There is no need for an apology given

Emotions are meant to be felt

It's another lesson learned

Its give and take, by holding on...

While letting some go...

Embrace those that matter

We are all strong enough to release this burden
