"Changing Moments"

In merely moments....

A warm and sunny disposition drastically changed...

From a bright beacon calling...

To a somber dreary gray

A smile fell dark

A sudden vision is realized...

Of just how little it takes to kick out the pillars that help support our beings

Exposing out tender human frailty

In the simplistic place of the unknown and the unforeseen

Judgment can be swiftly passed without acknowledgment

The bondage of betrayal can strike...

The illusion of a connection forms a separation that is all too real

But in the stillness of these experiences

The truth cannot be so easily cleansed or erased

Because inside the soul lies a vibrant consciousness

There is always belief...

And that never-ending hope

That the openness and convictions that we hold strong

Keeps us...

So that the infinite possibilities that are held within us...

Should and will always be out weighed by any assumption

Because in every moment...

We grow a little more

We live...

We learn through existence...

In streams of constant awareness

In this active motion called life.
