A sleepless night given...
By darkness eclipsing the sun...
Feelings over run the mind
Emotions fall short
Reflections of memories multiply
Even with this much hurt carried
Why do you defend the destruction?
You always walked the line
Arms wide open with understanding...
Giving...
Until now...
All has been taken
Stolen while the senses did not realize
The true meaning behind the actions and reasons
That you had become a ghost
Standing right in from of them...
All the while their heart was somewhere else...
Time led you astray
If you did not come back stronger together
Then you were meant to come back stronger by yourself...
Sometimes you don't owe a person more questions
But they do owe you a conversation
One without stories told
Of how the ending was at the beginning...
But they did not have care with the words to be told
That they were not the one to hold you
And keep you from harm
That all this was beyond their ability
And hope in a belief was not their conviction
That it would some how make something out of nothing
And so many wrongs, into a right...
The mind knows the hard truth
They were not sorry when you did not know...
So remember that...
You are not the mistake...
Sadly, just another step in their life of hopefully learning
As time reveals this broken...
Some goodbyes are not just endings...
But a release...
