"More Than Never"

Cold in shadows

Some have forgotten how to fight in the light

How much of our lives are lived too late?

Because life should be lived by looking forward

Never back...

Think of your life as moments in time

Exist...

Because the worst kind of death is what dies inside of you

While we are still yet alive

It's better to make the change or choice

Rather than waiting for life to do it for you

But without action the promise of, “It gets better”

Or “I'll make it all right” means nothing

When wrongs go on unchallenged

Conversations are forever left filling in the words of those absent

With remembrance

Keep in mind that comments and remarks take on many different shapes

Always be sure to check for pointed arrows

And that it too is an act that should be done in moderation

Choose compassion before judgment

Make the call...

Sometimes, in life, we have to be brave

To stand up for ourselves, and others

Because we are more than a victim.
