Life is a journey

As well as external
We meet so many people
a long the way
Breaking bread
Sharing stories
Making connections
Bonds of friendship
Or the passion that we
know as love
Its those memories and
moments that link us together
Or unhinge us...
We are the maker of our
own happiness
The world has enough
pressure within it to push or pull our wants and needs
Some bend...
Others break...
Heavy is the heart that
is filled with second guessing
For some achieve early
success
One footstep is struck
upon the path of life
And the rest is written
While others stick it
out and fight
For it is the belief
and conviction that drives them
To something more...
To something better...
Though they may falter
from time to time
They will never give up
or surrender
Their heart has learned
to protect itself
To rely on instinct
Cautiously optimistic
is not a bad place to be
Because no matter who

We're from perfect
