Eyes open wide...

We search the horizon...

Waiting for the new dawn...

The light breaks across the darkness

Hope reaches out

Our senses feel it as we breath...

Memories are always played in rewind

Some wash over us with too many tears to count

Others are locked deep within the mind

Its the surge and pull..

Like all things, its one day at a time...

And one wave at a time...

There is this balance within life we ride

Its like the price of admission to existence

Called the cost of the human condition

So way pay it...

We owe it in every ounce

In love, passion and care

And in peace, understanding and worth

Because what is the value in things forgotten?

Is it what came before you or what is left after?

Deep down you already know the truth

We are this day in every moment

Brave is the footstep forward

In remembrance of what has been learned

We acknowledge our path

And we do the best we can with everything we have

As we realize that slow growth is still growth

And the effort is always found in trying

Tomorrow is the unknown...

Today is what we currently have

So breathe...
