Embraced by the day anew

Reviving life that paused within the darkness

Steps forward on this path planted

From this day till tomorrow

Slipping into the deep end

Numbed by the cold and empty

Shadows of what should have been...

Could have been..

And what will never be...

Its okay to be a afraid

We have what it takes

Breath deep...

Let the wave of change wash over you

We are human

Learning...

We all run from the wind and thunder

Yet, dance in the rain

It's these patchwork moments

Making us who we are

We walk alongside one another on this journey

Vulnerable to weakness...

And even with the deepest of yearning

We cannot fix it all...

We are not our mistakes

Yesterday is gone

Today is to be existed

And tomorrow remains to be...

To keep the door open...

To leave the light on...

And to keep trying...

By loving ourselves and others...
