"Worthy of Existence"

We are here...

Some of us are lucky enough to be found

While others are still searching

Sifting through reflected times passed

Or forever holding onto those things that once held us still

The moments of life have brought us here

We treasure those memories we deem worthy

Forgotten are those that have soured our taste within life

We are not the darkness that attempts to seep into the corners of our daily living

We are more...

We are worthy of this endeavor

Because believing can lead to conviction

We have written so much already within in our history

Some pages carry more than we can ever handle

The heaviness of burden weighs upon us

Adding to the many lessons already learned...

We are never to old or young to be the student or the teacher

Every person who enters our life brings us light

But not every soul was meant to stay and walk with us

Not every promise to be present is loyal

Some only leave their mark of inspiration

Others leave a scar that tears cannot wash away

Making their only purpose to exist... and exit...

To show us an example of what to avoid the next time

Because a single lie discovered...

Is enough to create doubt in every truth expressed

If you push a trusted person away, to that final moment of ending

You will not find them where you left them in abandonment

As if they were awaiting for your return

People have big hearts

With an undeniable large capacity to care

Friendship and love should not be treated as a convenience

The heart is not a game to be played with

We are not sacrifices to judgment passed

And if an apology is all that you have left

One must to their best to give it

Fill up your words and make them anything but empty

Making them louder than your hurt and disrespect ever was...
