From vibrant colours of
life
The eyes did not see
the gray...
The beginning stages of
darkness creeping in
Senses began to wonder
Losing their track
Footsteps faltered
Questions began
Building by the seconds
passed
Time filled up with
empty spaces

Hours began to run cold
Temptation was revealed
to be an illusion

Emotions tangled

Lines were drawn

Pointed fingers of
blame shot like arrows
Before the thoughts
were formed
I found myself lost
Locked away inside my

Conversations looped
Misleading intentions
Boundaries were ignored
You crossed that divide
Folding my life into
two
Abandoning me on a path
to a place I could not follow
Making the life within
my heart question existence
All the edges of my
being rounded off smooth
Bitterness bit in
Anger grasped a hold of
my baited breath
Limiting the compassion
given
To the point of no
return I was pushed
Questioning
everything...
To that heart stopping
moment of realization made

Making my only choice
in belief
