These are the moments
Each breath...
The in's and out's
Ups and downs
All steps taken
What has been given
And that which has been
taken away...
This is our path
Of our making and
creation
From what has been
brought forth by us
As well as against us
We are in control of
how bright we shine
Or how much we allow
others to dim our radiance
We are our choices and
actions
But we are not our
thoughts
The sun will rise...
And set...
Reminding us that there
is beauty in ending
And that light always
follows darkness
Its our will and
conviction to not forget this
To live the moments of
our daily lives
Each day is given
But not promised...
Trust in the wisdom of
those who have gone before us
Heed the warnings
Trust your truth
And above all else
Believe in you.
