Beneath the evening sky
we meet
The grass, heavy with
dew
Whispers underneath our
feet as we walk side by side
The night hold us
Guided by the stars
above
The moonlight traces
your arched brow
It outlines the top of
your lip, and the curve of your jaw
Delicately you place
your hand upon my shadowed cheek
I feel the presence
deep within my core
The touch burns though
my nerves
In a moment of
possession you pull me close
The fierce warmth
surges through my body
Your heart pounds
beneath the palm of my hand
I sigh... and yield to
your sweet lips
The rapture between us
blossoms bright
A peacefulness runs
though me like a strong current of water
As I give my head full
permission to follow my heart.
