"To Moments Passed"

The hardest part of letting go...

Is moving on...

But when you reach the end of the road

And there is no where else to go

A new path must be forged

We can never write all the wrongs done...

We must find peace within the act of leaving it behind us

Where it belongs...

Forgiveness may not be able to change the past

But it certainly can change the future

Courage and strength is needed to know the difference

Our actions and words are just that

Ours...

Claim it...

Own it...

Take blame or reward with the same stride

There is no greater act given to another than validation

Or acknowledgment...

Be the change sought

Plant it...

Let it grow

Because in the end

Truth reveals all

And so does actions taken

There is hope with life in every breath

You just might find happiness when you find yourself changed...

Dawn will break the darkness that has fallen

Time moves on

To moments passed

Standing in the light we become free

By picking ourselves up

Dusting off the dirt

And carrying on living.
