"Love Lied"

In this moment I desperately wish for tomorrow

So I will have yet another day further away from all that was you and I

One more day at an attempt to mend my broken heart

Because bitterness does not even begin to describe the loss of faith in your actions

The failure of hope in you and your choices lacked any sort of compassion when destroying my heart

Memories now fail to recall

Any single point in time when all things changed between us

Until now

Ripped out by the roots

We had grown....

Or so I thought...

That strength would have been found in numbers

And a connection was made

But now, devastation is found only in one

After my emotions were dismissed by the simple wisp of your hand

All that once was has come crashing down

Passion runs cold

Tenderness turns to stone

My voice no longer wants to call your name

Because my mind can't seem to stop thinking

What was the lie?

You?

Or our love?
