A new day starts...

As the sun climbs over the edge of the world...

It always starts out small...

Another breath...

A thought...

A flicker of bravery...

This is how hope gradually returns, by anchoring the being within possible

We all have sad lines within our story of living we never share

The difference is and can be made...

Whether we make it the excuse for holding us back or motivating us forward

We don't have to control our thoughts...

But we do have to stop letting them control us

Refuse to allow the mirror to be a battleground

Listen with the same passion that you feel about wanting to be heard

Be careful about the stories you repeat to yourself regarding current circumstances

The constant dark negative leaves no room for the positivity of light

Forgive yourself first...

For all those times that you allowed someone to take power over you

When they made you feel empty, worthless, afraid, or anything less than who you are

We are only human...

And sometimes we even forget that...

Of just how capable we actually are

These are the things that we are made of...

The best way out, is through...

Making the cure for pain within pain itself...

Promise yourself to remember and to never forget again...

To be open to learning, unlearning and relearning as many times as needed

Because yesterday can never be changed...

Tomorrow is always another day...

And a chance to realign your direction of choice

With the decision made to never wait for “someday” ever again

Allowing today and all its moments to be yours.

"Bridges to Connections "

The decision...

It ends or it doesn't...

Like the night with darkness transitioning into light...

You can adjust and we do adapt

You are presented with two choices

Evolve or remain the same...

To be bound within everything unchanged

Reliving the same storms passing by

You are not your feelings, you just experience them

Anger, sadness, depression and fear...

This is the rain we all walk within

But our entirety is not the dark clouds over us

Because all bad weather does pass eventually...

Allowing the light to shine once again

And by choosing to grow beyond all yesterdays...

You are reminding yourself to never travel down that road ever again

No one ever changes unless they want to

They cannot be begged or told by force

Reason, tough love, or emotion never seems to be enough

It all rests up realization...

That they need to do it themselves, to stop the loss within existence

To understand how to listen and learn without being offended

Just because you don't fully understand it, doesn't mean it isn't so

If you can't lead yourself, then you have no right to try to lead another

Which now helps us to comprehend this understanding

That some bridges to connections when broken, should never be mended again

We do not owe our peace to those who constantly bring us chaos

We all fall and break...

We all fail and forget...

But when we heal, rise and remember...

This is when we can over come...

By releasing all that continuously harms our being.

Moments gather always...

They quickly add up...

Some weigh us down...

And then the decision comes...

Which to hold onto, and which ones to release...

Whispers of the past will always shape the echoes of the future

There is a decision the mind needs to make

Maybe the destination is not a place, but a new way of seeing

The refusal to live a life you don't want should always be stronger than your doubt of the unknown

Because fear can be such a manipulative emotion...

Temporary people and things tend to leave permanent lessons behind

There are so many uncertainties in this life already...

This is why healing your heart is one of the most powerful things you can do in your world

It's a beautiful act and the best gift given...

Especially when those people who shine their hearts outwards to guide another safely along the path of life

That they will put their own hardships aside in order to extend a helping hand

Offering a lifeline to those set a drift...

To be a spark of light shining in the darkness

Because you never really know the true impact you have on those around you

You never know just how much someone needed that smile you gave them

You may never know how much your kindness turned someone's entire life around

You never know how much someone needed that long hug or hours long talk

You just never know...

So don't wait to be kind....

Don't wait for someone else to be kind first...

Don't wait for better circumstances or for someone to change

Just be kind always...

You may never know just how much someone needs it.

"Life Long Lesson"

 

So strange sometimes...

How we begin to understand things...

That life is both fragile and so resilient at the same time

Existence the teacher...

Us the forever student learning

Don't let those lessons turn you cold

Allow your being to remain warm with strength

Never ignore patterns seen, but respect the signs given

Our softness is not a weakness, it is proof that we can survive without turning cruel

So many people are worried about being the bad guy in another beings story

And the truth of the matter is, we all know the parts we play

The difference comes when they were played with pure intentions or not

False conviction always comes when we walk away from those who have hurt us

They label us difficult and the villain in their story

But that makes us the healer within in ours...

And that is the strange part about life

So many feelings escape definition...

We have so many memories with people we may never speak to again

Some chapters hold laughter, love, and so many hour long talks

But still an end comes without closure..

You don't always get a goodbye...

Some people just fade into the background, leaving behind echoes of moments that once meant everything

And it does hurt...

The pain is real...

Not because those time were fake, but because the connection did not last

You shared so many secrets, made promises, and planned for so many days of futures now never lived

And yet, oddly enough, some part of us wouldn't erase it...

Because in those moments, even though temporary, we were exactly who we needed to be for each other

We learn now that not everyone is meant to stay in our story forever

Some people are lessons...

Some are the greatest of life long blessings

And some are so very hard to forget...

Even if we do not speak of them...

Does not mean we have forgotten the ever lasting effect that remains.
