"Either Way"

This path...

A continued journey daily...

We are the motion forward...

Decisions and choices

Existence through seasons of living

We can create...

Or conquer and destroy...

Peace is usually found in the beauty of simplicity

And chaos within the darkness of confusion

Either way...

Don't base any of your decisions on the advice of others

Especially when they are not the ones who have to deal with the results

So where is the fault?

How much do you want to owe?

Is there a debt to be repaid?

How much weight will you carry with you?

Till it squeezes out every ounce of light from your life...

It's one of the hardest lessons learned

To be bigger than the moment before you...

Or behind you...

You can forgive someone or not

Either way...

Move passed it...

Do not grant it permission to hold you hostage

Understand that forgiveness is for past reconciliation

Not for future consideration

Hours and months can be counted

But never avoided...

Time won't heal that which you do not face...

An unhealed person can find offense in pretty much anything another being does

The difference is in the action

An understanding with the meaning

Each day you-and only you-get to decide

Positive or negative...

Which one will you be?

What we have now...

This very moment...

With the next one approaching after this

Know the difference

Learn to rest, not quit...

This realization is known

The more you give...

Is the allowance set

A standard for others to see the limit

A boundary drawn from respect and consideration

Define the meaning...

So less energy is put into falling in love with your hand of giving

And not your heart of being

Understand that a lot of what weighs you down

Is not yours to carry...

Release the heaviness

Make the choice...

Forgive yourself for the past

Set yourself free...

Don't wait for things to get better

Life will always be complicated

Learn the lesson and live passed it

Do the best you can with what you have

Value progress over perfection

Inner peace will bring a happiness radiating from within

When you step beyond that which use to hold you still

The rhythm of existence continues

As the reflection in the mirror meets the beaming beautiful from within

You will see yourself again...

Stronger inside yourself

As you remember the promise made

Never to offer that same healing...

To that which broke you.

And always searching for ghosts in the darkness

Sort through the information

Be the now...

Make the decision

Let go of the anger

Past lessons learned

Are not meant to be a life sentence

Which is more important

To be right?

Or to prove them wrong?

When one lie from them

Does not compare to the lies you carry yourself...

Be the difference in your world

Go through the process of elimination

By knowing who you are not

Will bring you to who you are...

Let go of the heaviness

Of others wrong assumptions made

Feet forward will always lead you to the future

Pay yourself the respect you are owed

Be the architect of your creation

Feed the soul...

Plant the seed of inspiration

Grow with the seasons

In this universe of existence.

A spark awakens those emotions that have gone numb

How doubt can plague us with the confusion of darkness

Shadows will only lose their embrace

When the choice is made...

To feel the sunshine upon our face

How many times do we get a second chance?

Truth always holds the answers to the questions we seek

Lies usually cannot hold their weight

Because anger comes swift at the sight of being challenged

All too often we relate to pain...

Because we remember sadness before happiness

Sometimes its our own perception that punishes us the most

But when all the damage is done...
Who has actually won?

So many details linking time together

We are this journey

Existence waits for no being

We are all different on a very large spectrum

Where ever we go, we are there

Today is this...

Because the problem with tomorrow

Is that its always tomorrow...

Allow this gift of self betterment

Hear the voice from within

The worth comes in the effort of life

As you stay present

Choice...

An act in motion...

Is footsteps moving forward...

We are the decisions made

From the storms that wage against us

We take what comes

Rooted within humanity

We are the keeper of our history

And no other being can write your story

Blank pages await...

Existence within the senses

Treasure those big bright beautiful moments

The balance is weighed...

Some battles silently scream from our lips

And more times than enough...

It's not about who won...

When survival is the destination achieved

To keep on living from that which use to bind you

Because no matter how much it hurts then or even now...

It has changed your life...

A lesson in the purpose of pain

To realize we are the only ones who walk within our shoes

Boundaries do not cut out love...

They respect it...

Silence is not merely the absence of words

It's a response on its own

Our worth is something to be remembered

And should not be diminished by bitterness or the negativity of darkness

Letting go of things that no longer serve you well

Is the allowance given to ones self

By letting the need for happiness over rule any assumption made

Like all others before it, this day to will soon be over

And the night will come...

Passing all that has been into yesterday

Because tomorrow now comes with a new breath taken

At the breaking of a whole new light.
