"Unable To Stay"

Life...

We can all fall in...

And out...

Of like and love...

Its those seeds of doubt

Cultivated by choices and reflection

Our minds way of preparing our heart for that moment

The one where we say...

I am done...

And mean it...

Because too many times we lose our voice speaking

To a soul that isn't listening...

The heart has been disappointed

We have forgiven ourselves for that

And have begun to detach ourselves completely

Attention was lost...

Feelings led to behavior changed

The sadness within the eyes grew

As they watched the subtle oblivious move to disconnect

Illusions supersede reality

This choice now seems like an obligation

Vibrant colours shade

Darkness settles in...

And no being wishes for that...

Broken love is a pain that changes people

Makes them worry more

And trust less...

It makes them stop believing

And this is why many refuse to live like that

The heart has to learn the lesson

To make it all clear

Allowing ourselves to move on

Giving us hope of light and faith in love back again.

Set free the fear...

Embrace that which you are holding onto

Standing here is the person I have become

The being I've always wanted to be

Through the numbers of people we meet

All may come and go...

We learn the lessons of them

Some leave us with life long memories

Others take something that can never be replaced once they leave

Friendship and love...

The ties that connect and bind us together

Lucky are we for those whom enter the door upon our existence

Without reservation

Or statement of pride

They are there

Unwaveringly true

Even though not always beside us

A presence is felt

Its freedom within the deepest and strongest embrace

There is no disappointment within their eyes

Its the all knowing smile that lights up the darkness

Everything can change...

And so many things can stay the same

For belief in you is the way you believe in me

Unconditionally...

Everyday...

And all the moments in between

Here and now...

Taking and seeing one another

Exactly as we be.

"Fear No More"

Anxious thoughts steal my breath...

Moments of silence keep me still

Embracing those times of reflection

Memories weave through the ups and downs of life

I remind myself that I am in control

To seek the courage within the worry

As events and feelings move passed my ability to define or confine them

That I am my own source of strength

I believe enough in me to win

When I am called out to fight

We have to be greater than the battle waging within our mind

To be more than what we suffer

Even though the darkness sometimes does end with the night

We are better for the experiences gained

We are made from the choices and lessons learned

Surviving is taking this second for you

Its moving any step, in any direction, passed that which holds you still

Sometimes its grand...

A new day given...

Others may require you to reach out, asking for a helping hand

Its okay...

Compassion will listen

We are human...

Daily life is change

Sometimes it takes a simple reminder to know or see the difference

Not always can we speak happiness

The balance of this world sees to this

Plant your belief strong

Strength in numbers as needed

As long as you try

You have already won

For our scars are our scars

Heal them...

Be not that which has been done to or against you

Take no judgment or criticism on how you have healed them or are healing them

Especially from those who have trespassed against you

Causing it...

The first step of moving forward

Leaving all yesterdays behind

Its a renewal...

A rebirth...

A day to be lived

Existing within life

By allowing the perpetual motion forward carry you

Step into the light

Cast out the gloom of shadows cast

Let the wound carried

Be the crack where the light enters

Let it heal...

Transform...

Because regardless of age, race, or status

Peace always begins within

The hands of the world are upon us

Lessons learned

Experiences gained

Pain given

Hope taken

Trust in human decency is never wasted

Our words are sometimes our largest resource

Use them...

Speak them...

Silence after hate is a very dangerous thing

Because if you say nothing...

Its like giving your approval to what is going on...

Give life a chance

Take a risk

Let compassion lead

Share more happiness

Embrace tolerance

Consider it

All choices are at our fingertips
