The moon shines white

A starless night

Actions abandon

Feeling burns

The last message received

Is carved in stone

The reason I now stand here alone...

Because you could not understand the damage done

All promises failed

Bringing this detour to a dead end

Teaching me the greatest lesson in loss

Trying to forget someone you loved

Is like trying to remember someone you never knew...

Bringing forth a wave of emotion

Reminding me that the most painful tears are not the ones that fall...

They are the ones that bleed from your heart...

Sad moments are part of reality

And realization...

Some people may stay in our hearts

But cannot stay in our lives...

There are better ways to live than to be in constant conflict with your inner being

The world and life are just that

Heavy...

Chaotic...

And busy...

What happens challenges us

All moments connect

Our story is being written as we live it

It happens with us...

Or without us...

Its how we were made

Its how we got to where we are today

Nothing is ever gained with constantly tearing yourself apart

Battled within war

Like a storm upon the horizon

Pain can come swiftly

But just like all bad weather

By the light of dawn

This too shall pass

Clouds of gray will part

The sun will shine strong once again

You will do well to remember that there is a fire burning bright within you

That is why you should not fear the darkness

Not everything that you loose is a loss...

Find your place and your voice once again

Use it

Break the silence...

For we are forever learning

And life...

Is the teacher.

We are the difference

And the change we make

Happiness is not perfection

Its looking beyond the imperfections

We must do our best to break the cycle

Mistakes...

And other peoples insecurities are not the burden of others to bare

Discussions are made for building

Debating...

Fixing and clearing the air

Wasted time on listening spent

To only hurtful words spoken

Because silent tears always hold the most pain

Do your best to repair your broken

Before it adds to another...

Breaking them too...

Fix it or forget it

Because in your hesitation

Another will find their final answer

That sometimes forgiveness is granted

Apology is accepted

But to trust again is denied

Making their response to the silence...

This is our final note...

Our last song...

Change is upon us

From nothing came to be

A thing soon to be a memory

Seeds planted sprouted beautiful buds

A tender hand held the dream

Attention and love made it bloom

Beautiful to the eye was the sight

Bursting with pride the light shone

Tall and forever building beyond the boundaries

It weathered the storm

Through the thick and thin

It was tested to its limit of resources

Because as the months faded into the next

So did the vibrant colour...

Every day it got a shade more dim

Lingering pedals clung to the stem

Afraid to fall... and fail...

From the branches that once so tenderly cared

And held so strong...

A flood of tears rained

Washing away that final thought

Bitter and cold to the blowing wind of change

Ruin swept in with the darkness

We are the stewards that ushered this in

Now we watch over all before us as it takes its last breath

From every season there is a step taken

One to the next

On the pathway of life

This is our winter song

Where the deep frozen sleep brings an end to all that flourishes

Leaving a single solitary hope

For a new spring.
