The time has come...
A year has come to pass
The days have
surrendered to the nights early closing
An end that bleeds the
most colourful hues within the sky
Some so bright its as
if the horizon was set on fire
While others whither
into smokey grays and mix with the approaching darkness
Autumn shadows have
come to pass
All the vibrant
branches bare
Life hidden in the soil
below
Hushed is the growth of
the passing season
Awaiting its time
Sleeping through the
cold winter months
To spring forth once
again.
