Moments have come and
passed
The months have been
counted
My steps have moved
forward
Letting what has been
fade into the rear view mirror of life
Change has come
Time has found me here
With strength
And the will of
survival
It took me a long time
to move passed “us”
Even longer to pick
myself up from the place you left me...
Some times we only have
one chance to do things right
And when things fail...
A marker is made in
history
Never to repeat those
feelings and emotions again
We all unfortunately
except the love we think we deserve
Rather than what we
actually need
We are not perfect
people...
Hence why we are always
continued works in progress
From love...
To something once
treasured...
You are now nothing
more than a fellow traveler in life
